Spiffy Polish Swatches and Review

Hey guys, today I have another great review for you to feast your eyes upon. I have some great polishes from Spiffy Lacquer.

Spiffy Lacquer is owned by Heather Lester, who lives in Jacksonville, Florida, She mostly makes shimmer and glitter polishes, but also in her shop on Etsy, she sells a few journals with adorable covers like monkeys and forest animals.

I have up to show you guys four polishes that she let me pick from her shop. You will probably know why I chose these polishes after you see them. A few of the polishes I have to show you guys are based off of the Harry Potter franchise, so get excited!

First one I have up to show you is called Lumos. It is described on Heather's shop page as follows:

"Like so many other ideas, this polish color is brought to you from the wonderful world of wizardry, thanks to author J.K. Rowling and her incredible Harry Potter series. Lumos is a lovely shade of early dawn lavender, blended up with still more early dawn colors- reds, pinks, purples, and even some grassy greens. This polish is sure to light up anyone's day!"

I did two coats for this swatch. At first, I was having a little trouble with application, it was a little goopy, but then I removed it and redid it and it came out a lot better. I love this color, it's very pretty.

Next up I have for you guys is called Two by Two, Hand of Blue. This polish is described on Spiffy's page as follows:

"It's coming for you, and it won't rest until the job is done- your nails, that is! This brilliant blue polish is great, especially when you and your best friend both wear it together. It has all the blue of those scary plastic bodysuits, just a touch of shimmer to really make it reach out and grab at you, and a hint of glow, for those pursuits through the dark."

This one is great, it dries matte. I did two coats. I love this color, and this is the first matte polish I've tried too.

The third polish I have to show you guys is called My Patronus is a... This polish is described as follows on Heather's shop:

"Like so many other ideas, this polish color is brought to you from the wonderful world of wizardry, thanks to author J.K. Rowling and her incredible Harry Potter series. It is a wispy spell of a blue, with little flecks of glimmer throughout, imbuing it with bits of magic and mystery. While lovely on it's own, as is any patronus charm, it really shines when used against the dark, bringing out it's inner shine even more, chasing away the gloom."

This was a very sheer polish, so I needed three coats for opacity. I love the subtle blue color of this polish, it also can appear a bit like silver in some lights.

Last one up that I have for you guys is called A Whole New World. You can probably guess the inspiration behind this polish, but here is what Heather said on her Spiffy Nail Polish Facebook page:

"A Whole New World- inspired by Aladdin's princess Jasmine. A soft metallic aqua with gold flakes."

The formula was quite similar to My Patronus is a.... and I had to apply three coats for opacity. I love this color, so pretty!

I hope you guys enjoyed the swatches. Spiffy Nail Polish can be purchased on their Etsy page. She currently has 12 polishes and 3 journals for sale on her page. If you go to her Facebook page, you can check her photos and see other polishes she has created and you can message her and she may be able to sell some to you.

Well, that's all I have for you right now. Talk to you guys later, bye!
