KBShimmer Shattered Heart Review

Today I have a new polish that I just picked up on Amazon, as you can see in my last blog post.

KBShimmer Shattered Heart is a neon pink polish with many different black glitters, ranging from hearts, to bars, to small hexes, and small circles.

It was hard to capture the true neon-ness of this polish, as you all probably know neon polishes don't like to b photographed.

The polish applied well, went on smooth. I love this polish, the only problem that I have with it is that I had the hardest time getting any glitter to show up. I hardly got any of the smaller glitters, and just barely got any of the heart glitter. I only managed two hearts on my thumb, on on my pointer, one on my pinky, and NONE on my other hand. But that's alright, I still adore the color a lot!

Well, that's it for now guys, hoped you enjoyed my review! Talk to you guys later!

Amazon Haul

Hey everyone, sorry that it's been a little while since I posted, I did a couple guest posts and then I was waiting for nail mail to make a blog post, but now that I got my nail mail, I can post about it!

Last week I went polish shopping on Amazon as I had a lot on my gift card balance, and bought some polishes from some online and indie nail polish makers that I've had my eyes on!

As you can see, I picked up three polishes. From top to bottom, they are KBShimmer Shattered Heart, Glitter Gal Blue Suede Shoes, and Nubar Night Sparkle. This image is just a snippet of each.

Here are the full bottle shots of each. Now, for each polish, it may be difficult to see in the images, so I'll describe the colors. KBShimmer Shattered Heart is a neon pink polish that is filled with a variety of black glitters, ranging from small circles, to hexes, to bars, and to hearts. Glitter Gal Blue Suede Shoes is a light grey-toned blue holo polish. I am really excited to have this polish because I have really wanted Glitter Gal polish, and I have really wanted holo polish, and these are my first of each! The last one, Nubar Night Sparkle, is a very dark blue polish with shimmer thoughout.

I am very excited to have these, and hope these won't be my last from these brands, and for indie brands in general!

Well, hope you guys enjoyed my haul (thanks to the Photo Grid app for my collage photos). If you guys have any hauls you'd love to show me, post links in my comments. I love a good haul!

Talk to you guys later, bye!

Guest Post at Gnarly Gnails

Hey everyone,

Gnarly Gnails posted on their Facebook looking for a few blogers to make some guest posts, so I messaged her seeing if I could be one of the lucky ladies! She said my mani pictures were great and my nails looked good, so she let me be a guest blogger!

This weekend I bought a great Barielle Shades nail polish set with a lemming of mine in it, and used that in the guest post. She made the post live on her blog today, so I'd love to share it with you all.

Without further ado, my guest post at Gnarly Gnails!

Fabulous TJMaxx and Walgreens Haul

While I didn't get an ENORMOUS amount of nail polish today, I did get a decent amount and it is all great quality and some I've been wanting in a really long time. Today at TJMaxx, when I went with my mom, I guess they had a new shipment of nail polish in, because they had a TON of Barielle Shades sets for $7.99. I've been wanting Barielle polish for such a long time, and a recent lemming of theirs, I was able to find it in one of the sets!

The set that I picked up is called Moody Blues. It is a great collection of five different blue and grey polishes. The polishes that came in this set are: Swizzle Stix, U-Concrete-Me, Out-Grey-Geous, Falling Star, and Snow Day. Falling Star was a lemming of mine that I recent wanted, and now that I have it, I am so excited! These are my first Barielle polishes, and I am really happy!

Next, I went to Walgreens with my mom and picked up some more polishes. They had a sale going on there where you could get two Sinful Colors polishes for $3 with your Balance Rewards card, and also by using your card, you get 1,000 points! I just had to take advantage of it, so I picked up You Just Wait and Superstar. Then I saw they had a new Wet n Wild Wild Shine display, and I saw this gorgeous light blue that I just had to have. They weren't really on sale, it cost me $0.99, but I got it anyways as it's always so cheap! It's called Teal Slowly and See. The name to me doesn't make sense as the color is by no means a teal polish, but that's alright!

You guys better check at your local TJMaxx and Walgreens to see if yours has these awesome polishes and deals going on, because the Sinful Colors deal may not last long, and who knows how long the Barielle polishes will stick around at TJ's.

Well, that's it for now, talk to you guys later!

Mint Mani in Memory of Talia Joy

As many nail polish bloggers, and just bloggers in general, are doing today and for Friday are mint manis. It was shown that the last picture she ever showed the world was of her nails, and they were painted in a mint colored polish. So to pay tribute to Talia, everyone is painting their nails in mint color polish, or in some way doing nail art or anything to their nails that includes a mint color.

What I used to pay tribute was a mint polish from Color Club's Blossoming collection, with an accent of Rimmel 60 Seconds Sunny Side on my ring finger.

The Color Club polish went on streaky, and was hard to apply. You can still see the streaks even after 3 coats, but I decided to just leave it. The Rimmel polish, while it is a year or two old, it still applies well and went on good! The Rimmel color is a smidge less orange in person, but not too much.

If you just want, you can show me your mint manis for Talia in the comments, by link or image. That's all for now guys! Bye!

Orly "Preamp" Swatches and Review

Today on the blog I have up a great polish from Orly, called "Preamp". This is a gorgeous dusty pink polish with a neon pink shimmer. I did two coats in these swatches. The first swatch is in focus, the second one is to show more of the dusty pink color and some more shimmer.

On top of both, I used this new top coat my mom picked up for me from LA Colors, called Triple Play, which means it is a top cat, base coat, and nail hardener.

This is a super gorgeous polish, and went on like a dream, and from what I can tell, there are NO bubbles at all, which I always dread when doing manis as it is always so hot here that bubbles just crop up! I hope this one lasts at least a few days. If you don't have this yet, pick it up! I bought this at TJMaxx a few months ago, but they may still have some, so check out yours!

Well, that's all I have for you guys tonight! I hope you enjoyed the swatches and review. Talk to you guys later!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri "Blue Streak" Review

Today I have a new polish to review, that my mom picked up for me, from Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri line. It's called "Blue Streak".

This is a fantastic color, and goes on well if you do longer strokes which sometimes I don't, but the one thing I had trouble with was bubbling.

Here is a picture that I took last night when I first applied this polish:

Here is one that I took today of my mani. As you can maybe tell, there are still bubbles.

I thought doing it again the next day would get rid of the bubbles. I waited over 15 mins between each coat, and still bubbles. Maybe it was because of the heat, I don't know. Also, sorry about the watermarks being a bit different on each, still having trouble with that, maybe I should just do the straight watermark? What do you think?

Well, that's all for now, talk to you guys later!

Nail Mail from Glitter Guilty

Hey guys! Today I have a new nail mail to show you. This is one that I won in a giveaway.

I won this in a giveaway that Glitter Guilty was having, for one bottle of her patriotic polish, Iron Patriot.

Ignore the ripped card, when I cut open the package, it just happened!

Iron Patriot is a beautiful polish. It is a medium blue polish that has small and medium blue and silver glitter, and silver star glitter throughout! If this came on Tuesday or Wednesday, this would have been perfect for the 4th of July, but this is still a great polish for the summer, or for a festival or something!

Well, this is a short post, just showing you my nail mail for today! I hope you enjoyed checking it out, and if you want to purchase any Glitter Guilty polish, check them out on their facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/GlitterGuilty?fref=ts or on http://www.glitterguilty.com/

Sally Hansen's Lustre Shine

Today my mom came home from work and brought me one of the most loveliest polishes I have ever seen, and also one that I have been wanting for a really long time, but has never been on sale.

The polish I am talking about is from Sally Hansen's Lustre Shine collection, and it's called Scarab. Usually these polishes are between $7-$8, but my mom got this (with another Lustre Shine for herself) for just $1.99 each at Ross! I have never seen Sally Hansen polishes at Ross, so this was a first!

This beauty is a teal duochrome. In different lights you can see blue, and others you can see teal. Just looking at the swatches of this online, it looks gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it!

If you have been after these polishes for a while but have been deterred by the price, I suggest dropping by Ross to see if yours carries any of these polishes.

Well, that's it for now, talk to you guys later!

4th of July Mani

Happy 4th of July everyone! I wanted to share with you all my festive mani that I did to celebrate the day. It's the night before the 4th, but it's alright!

Also, wanted to say that I learned how to watermark today, so starting from this post forward, all of my manis will have watermarks on them! I am still learning and it takes me a while to get my name around the nail, so bare with me if they look weird for a bit.

Without further ado, here is my mani for the 4th of July!

In my haul post from last weekend, when I showed the LA Colors set I picked up, it came with the perfect festive polish that I just had to use for my 4th of July mani. It's LA Colors Color Craze in Confetti. I topped it over the white mini polish from Wet n Wild's Color Wave set. I think the two polishes paired together really well. I decided to post two images so you could see the mani at two angles.

Well, that's all for now. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July and eats a lot of barbeque and enjoys the beach and sunshine! A post will come later tonight on a polish my mom picked up for me today, so talk to you guys then!
