L.A. Colors Minis

*Products My Own

Hey guys!

I am back today, right before the end of the year, with one last post!

I have a group of polishes that I swatched last week but didn't have time to post them up.

These are some L.A. Colors minis. My mom picked up a set of around 10-16 of these for me some time ago. They had a variety of colors. There were more blues and pinks than anything so I decided to group them up in colors.

The first group I have to show you guys are all pinks or corals. None of these colors have names.

The first one I have to show you is a nice orangey coral. I did three coats. Application was great and it cleaned up well.

Second, this one is a nice bright pink, almost neon. It reminds me of the 80s a lot. Application was great. I did three coats. Bright colors freak out my camera so I had trouble getting a clear shot.

The third one I have to show you is my favorite of the group. This one is a medium pink, with a metallic shimmer, sorta frosty look. Application was great on this as well, and cleaned up nicely. I did three coats. I love colors like this, not too fussy but still has something special.

This next one is the only glitter one that was pink in this set. It has orange, purple, white, and pink hex and circle glitters in a super sheer pink base. The base comes out almost clear on the nail. Application was good, but it was a little tough to get enough glitters out, and out evenly. I did three coats.

Last up, this one is the darkest of the group. This is a bright magenta, but dark, if you get my drift. It is like a neon. I did three coats. It was still sheer even after three coats as you can see some visible nail line. Application was great.

As always I love L.A. Colors polishes. These are such pretty and cute colors and are good for layering glitters on top of!

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Nail Mail Time! Leesha's Lacquer Super Package!

*Products Sent to Me

Hey guys! I have been so busy with work and with the holidays that my blog has been pushed to the back for now. I am back though!

I have to show you guy this fantastic package that I got in the mail last week from my best nail buddy, Alicia, from Leesha's Lacquers.

Recently, I sent her two packages. They were crammed full of nail polish that I no longer wanted, like hundreds in each package. Cheap ones, middle mainstream ones, higher end ones, and indies. She was so happy to get all of these polishes, and I was happy to give them to her instead of spending too much time trying to swap them or jut let them collect dust.

I didn't expect anything in return and told her not to send me anything, but low and behold, she told me she was putting together a package with a bunch of her own brands nail polishes. Older colors, newer colors, minis, tops coats, you name it!

When I opened the package, it was just bunches and bunches of polishes wrapped up. It took me nearly 15 mins to open them all.

Here is a group shot of all of them. I attempted to make a triangle but I think the angle I got the picture at distorted it, but you can see all of the colors.

The first of the bunch that I was sent were with her current bottle look. Small round bottles with a clear label on the bottle and black tops.

The light was bright that day, so it is a little hard to see. These five all have her new logo like I mentioned, a white bunny with her brand's name in the middle. These are all one of a kinds. From left, the first one is a sheer frosty white with glitter, second is a frosty medium pink with scattered holo glitter. The third one is a medium purple filled with scattered holo glitter. Fourth, this one has Halloween/fall type colors. It has black, orange, yellow, and red glitters. Lastly, the one on the far right is a dark grey/black polish filled with pinky purple glitter.

Next up are the ones using her oldest bottle styles and logo. These have white tops with an octagon bottle. The logo is a white circle with her brand's name, and between the name is a small black bunny.

This group again are all one of a kinds. Instead of describing them all cause this group is bigger than the last, I will just say thee colors are all glitters and range from white and pink glitter, purple, red, to darker colors like dark red, dark purple, and dark blue.

These are her mini polishes. She sent me minis in her quick dry top coat, cuticle oil, and base coat. The top coat is in the scent mango paradise and the cuticle oil's scent is called clean laundry. The base coat has no special scent.

Next up, these are more of her mini polishes. Only the first two have names. They are both the same color, and are called Enchanted. It is a metallic frosty lavender. The rest are metallic and glitter polishes, and range from purple to orange to green to brown.

Next up are three full size bottles. Two top coats and a base coat.

The two top coats are in the scents Lilac Blooms and Bubble Gum. The base coat does not have a scent.

Next. these are some polishes she sent me are in her second style bottle. Black tops with the same logos as the ones with the white caps, bit the bottle is long and round. These are all shimmery, metallic, earthy colors.

I will name these in order. First, this one has no name, but it is a beige micro holo. Second, this one is a light brow micro holo, no name for this one. Third, this one is called "AU There: I See You Over There!". The fourth one is called "Mellow Yellow". The orange one is called "I Don't Carrot All". The last one, which is more lime green in person, is called "Lime Yours".

These ones are also shimmers and metallics, but more pastel, bright, girly colors. These are in the same bottles as the last one.

The first and last ones have no name, but the three in the middle do. The second one is called "Strawberry Daiquiri". The next two are the same color, both named "Raspberry Beret".

This last group has the same bottles as the last two groups. These are all glitters.

These guys are named in order. First, Fruity O's Cereal. Second, Superball. Third, Ions of Neon. Fourth, Tequila Sunrise. Fifth and Sixth are the same color, named Pretty in Pink. Seventh, this is called Vegas Lights. Eighth, Supernova. The last one in the group is called Rainbow in a Bottle.

In total, I was sent 50 nail polishes, which brings my total of Leesha's lacquer polishes to 87! I love her polishes so much and she is the nicest person too!

To celebrate this generous haul, and to bring my blog back, tomorrow I will have a giveaway for you guys for six of these polishes. I won't give any hints as to which ones, it could be top coats, glitters, an orange and green, just gotta wait and see. Until tomorrow guys!

Rimmel 60 Seconds: Hard Edged

*Products My Own

Hey guys!

Work has been super busy, I am always tired, plus with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up I am just busy with a lot of stuff.

I finally found some time to make this post I have had in the works for quite a while.

This is a polish my mom had in her room along with other polishes that she didn't want anymore. I thought it was super pretty, so she let me have it.

This lovely is from Rimmel's 60 Seconds line, and it is called Hard Edged. It is a dark violet red polish. It shifts red to purple in the light. I did two coats by itself.

Application was great, but typically all of the polishes in this line have great application. I love this color, it looks different depending on if you are indoors or outdoors and the light.

This polish, and as far as I know, this line, is not available for purchase anymore, but I am sure you could pick this one up on Amazon or another online store if you are interested in buying it.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you later, bye!

Sally Hansen: Blueberry Blast VS Pacific Blue

*Products Are My Own

Hey guys! I am back today with a post on two very similar-in-bottle Sally Hansen nail polishes, both of which are blue.

These come from their Hard as Nails: Xtreme Wear line.

The first one that I have up to show you is called Blueberry Blast. This one is a medium blue with subtle sparkle throughout. I did three coats by itself. Application was great, and there was no staining at all.

The second one, is just about the same in the bottle. It is the famous Pacific Blue, but the newer formula. It is medium blue with subtle sparkle. I did three coats by itself. Application was great, with no staining from this one either.

Comparing them side to side is what really determines if they are the same or different because each pic of each polish, the lighting and times could be different, although they do look similar even with the lighting. Here they are side by side, pointer and ring finger are Blueberry Blast and middle and pinky are Pacific Blue.

You can see, they are both quite similar in color. The only differences that I could tell is that Pacific Blue is thinner than Blueberry Blast, a smidge less blue, and less sparkly. In terms of you needing one over the other, or needing both? I say if you have one already, and I am guessing more of you guys will have Pacific Blue over Blueberry Blast, you do not need the other. Unless the bit of visible nail line is an absolute deal breaker for you, then by all means, Blueberry Blast it is.

I am gonna keep both cause why not, one of my friends gave me Pacific Blue, but I would not go out today and purchase both cause I feel they are both similar enough that it doesn't make sense to have both.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel: Let's Get Digital

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

I am back today to show you guys one of the prettiest polishes I have ever seen.

This isn't some polish filled with the cutest or wackiest or best glitter ever, it isn't a polish that has the most holo glitter in it ever. It is super gorgeous though.

This is Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Let's Get Digital. It is from their gel line. These polishes are like gel. They last longer from chips and have a great shine.

Let's Get Digital is a lovely sheer baby blue filled with pink micro glitter that shifts in the sunlight. It almost appears as a holo but not quite. I did three coats by itself. This polish would be great over a pink, or a white, or a blue.

This is such a pretty color. I love how sparkly it is when you go outside in the sun. I would definitely recommend this color in your collection. It did pretty good in terms of wear as well, not as fast to chip as usual polishes.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes retail for $10 in stores. I picked this one up from TJMaxx for only $4.99 so maybe check your local store to see if you will get lucky like I did.

Well, that's all I have for you guys today. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Formula X: Stand Out and Blend In

*Products Purchased By Myself

Hey guys!

I am back today with a new post on a couple Formula X polishes that I picked up recently.

One of these is bold and the other is a bit more subtle. You can decide which ones you feel match each theme.

Here is a preview:

First up, this one is just from the brand Formula X. It is called Funky. This is a metallic medium blue with a bit of a purple shift in the light. I did two coats by itself. Application was great, and it didn't stain at all.

The second one I have to show you guys is from Formula X for Sephora. I don't think, with or without "for Sephora" really means two different brands, I think they just decided to drop the for Sephora part cause they have always been sold by and in Sephora. This one is called Heroic. This one is a metallic rose gold with lots of micro gold glitter flecks. I did three coats by itself. Application was great. In the light you can see the flecks more.

The first one I picked up at Sephora on sale for $5, and the second came in a three pack at Ross for $4.99. Lately Ross has had tons of these polishes in three packs, so if you are looking for start a collection of Formula X polishes, that's the place to start.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now! I will talk to you all later, bye!

PRO by PROfUSION Nail Lacquer

*Products Purchased Myself

Hey guys!

I am back with a post on some polishes from a new to me brand.

I picked these lovelies up at TJMaxx a couple of weeks ago.

These are from the brand PROfUSION. I am sure you guy have seen this brand sold in drugstores and TJMaxx, Ross, and other such discount stores. I have never seen polishes from this brand until a few weeks ago.

They only had a handful of colors to choose from, and I picked up the two I thought were the prettiest and that I could work with.

Neither of these have any names as far as I can tell.

The first one that I have up to show you guys is a nice glitter topper. It is a clear base filled with micro holo glitter, small holo circles, medium holo circles, and large holo hearts. I did one coat over Formula X for Sephora's Funky. It was a little hard to grab out the hearts.

The next one that I have is a lovely baby rose pink. It is filled with micro holo/silver glitter. It was a little hard to capture on camera. I did three coats by itself. Application was great.

In the bottle these polishes don't look any more special than LA Colors or any other cheap nail polish. When I put them on my nails, I really thought these were unique and I would totally pick up these polishes again if TJMaxx or other stores still carried them. At TJMaxx, I picked these up for the super affordable price of $1.49 each.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Minty Leesha's Lacquer

*Product Sent to Me

Hey guys!

I am back today with another Leesha's Lacquer Mini.

This is another mini, and another one of a kind

This one is a lovely minty green sparkle. It has micro blue glitter throughout. I did three coats by itself.

Application was good, but it is a little thin so it drags a bit. In person it is more green. This is such a fun color, I love the frosty look.

Later this week I will have something different up to show you guys. I picked up few polishes from a brand I didn't even know made nail polish, and a couple China Glaze, a Sally Hansen I have been wanting for a while, among other polishes my mom gave me and I have had in queue for a while.

That's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye for now!

One of A Kind: Leesha's Lacquers Makes Another Appearance

*Products Sent to Me

Hey guys!

I am back today to show you guys some more lovely Leesha's Lacquers polishes.

The three that I have up to show you today are all one of a kinds and are all glitter polishes.

The first one that I have up has a milky white base. It has large black hearts, medium purple circles, small black and hot pink circles, and micro black glitters.

I did three coats by itself. Application was great and it was easy to clean up.

Next up, this polish has an off white base. It is filled with micro black and copper glitters. I did three coats by itself. Application was great. I love how well the glitter came out, I got a nice coating of it.

Lastly, this one is a glitter topper that I decided to show you by itself, so I could see how well it built up on its own. This one includes large silver moons, medium blue stars, and tons of small red and blue glitter, in a clear holo base.

Application was great as usual. It was very shiny and my camera freaked out so this was the best shot I could get. This would look good over blue or red, and would be perfect for the fourth of July, Memorial Day. It is very patriotic.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Sparkle and Shine: Revlon and Orly

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

I am back today with another lovely Revlon polish, along with a gorgeous Orly polish.

I really love flakie and glitter polishes as you can tell so that seems to be a theme lately.

I decided to do a mani doing every other nail each color. My ring and pinky fingers have Revlon Desirable and my pointer and middle fingers have Orly Pixie Powder.

Orly Pixie Powder is a silver glitter packed polish with a pinky-purple color shift. I did three coats by itself. Application was great! Revlon Desirable is a dusty rose polish with subtle micro silver glitter. I did three coats by itself. Application was good, hard to do clean up with this color.

I love both of these colors. Desirable is very unique, I haven't quite seen a color like it. My pictures don't do it justice at all. Pixie Powder, I have seen polishes like this before, but it is still such a gorgeous color and great application. I would totally recommend both of these colors.

Revlon retails for around $6 in most stores and Orly sells for $9-$10 in salons, and you can pick select colors up at TJMaxx for around $3.99.

That's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Nail Enamel: Untamed

*Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

Sorry for the long delay in posting. Work has been super busy, all I do lately is go to work and sleep. Work is going to get even busier now cause I got more responsibilities added to my plate.

I finally have some days off so I decided to finally make these posts that I have been putting off.

The first polish that I have up to show you is from Revlon. I really love Revlon polish. I don't know why. Not that is has super staying power, because basically no polish has ever wowed me with staying power cause my nails are so weak. It is because they have so many different colors and finishes that are very unique and I always find a new one that I like that I haven't picked up yet.

The color that I have to show you is called Untamed. This is a brown polish that when you go out into the sun turns purple. It has large copper flakies throughout. I did two coats by itself.

This color is so pretty. I didn't get to capture how it changes to a blue-purple in the sun, but just trust me on this one. If you think it looks boring now, and I don't know why you would, it looks 100 times better in the sun. This is definitely one color that I suggest you all need to add to your collection.

You can get Revlon polishes at any store near you. CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Kmart, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, anyplace that sells mainstream makeup, you are most likely to find these.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Nonie Creme Colour Prevails

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

Today I have another polish for you that I just picked up. This is a new to me brand that I just recently saw pop up.

This brand is called Nonie Creme Colour Prevails. I looked this brand up and it was created by someone that works with the high end brand Butter London.

As far as I know, you can only find this brand at Walgreens. They make eye shadow, lip stick, lip gloss, eye liner, nail polish, among other stuff.

What I have to show you guys today is one of their nail polishes. This one is called Mr Wrong.

It is a blue glitter polish. It has a sheer blue base mixed with blue, silver, and gold micro and small glitters. I did three coats by itself. It looks great on its own after three coats, but could also look pretty over gold or silver with just one coat.

Application was great, it had very little mess to clean up. Also, because it was sheer, it didn't stain my nails.

Sadly, I knocked my bottle of polish of my nightstand with the cap open and lost half the bottle of polish. It would be okay if I didn't like the color, plus the bottle is super pretty with the handle being a butterfly wing.

You can pick these polishes up at Walgreens. Most colors are cremes with a few glitters. They retail for $8, but I got this on sale for $5.50.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

NabiColor: Navy Blue

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

Today I am back with another great review.

I am sure most of you guys have heard of the brand Nabi. I know this brand is well known for having harsh smelling polishes.

Well, I went into a local boutique in my area to look around with a friend of mine, and I noticed a couple Nabi polishes on a display.

They said Nabi, but were in long rectangle bottles with long tops, unlike the more round, stumpy bottles we are used to seeing from this brand. When I looked up the nail polish, it turned out this is from Nabi. The bottles we are used to seeing are their line Nabi I and this one is from their line Nabi V.

The color I have to show you is called Navy Blue. This is a rich sapphire blue metallic chrome. I did two coats by itself.

Application was great. Unlike the blue Revlon polish I showed you guys earlier this week, it didn't stain and didn't make any mess. I would definitely recommend this polish. I picked it up for $5.

Well, that's all I got for you guys today. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Moon Candy Nail Art: Galactic

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

I am back today to show you a polish that I had sitting in my collection for a while, and that is no longer sold in stores.

Maybe four years ago, Revlon came out with these nail polishes, called Moon Candy. They were double ended polishes, one side was a creme and the other a jelly glitter flakie. I am not sure how many polishes were in this collection, but I think at least five or six.

The one that I have up to show you is called Galactic. It is a dark navy blue creme on one end, and a light blue jelly flakie on the other.

The first image is of the navy blue creme. I did two coats. Application was messy, the blue seeped into my cuticles and stained my skin.

I topped it off with the light blue flakie. I did one coat on top of the blue. Application was great, it didn't give me trouble like the navy blue did.

These polishes retailed for around $8 in stores, but aren't available anymore. I can't recommend this polish cause the blue really gave me trouble. I then dropped it on the floor and it got on my shoes and floor and gave me even more trouble. But it does give a nice look with the flakie topper.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Republic Nail: Frida Kahlo Premium Nail Lacquer

*Product Purchased By My Mom

Hey guys!

I am back today with a post on a new polish brand that my mom spotted for me over at CVS a few weeks ago.

Recently, at CVS, or Longs Drugs here, and not sure if this is all of them or just ours, but they have put displays of travel and convenience beauty products up in the front closer to the registers. They had a section in one of the displays with some new nail polishes.

These nail polishes are by the gel lacquer brand Republic Nail. They are named after the artist Frida Kahlo.

This one that I have to show you is called FKN.34. They all have no real names, just letters and numbers. This one is your typical medium fuchsia pink. I did two coats by itself.

Application was great, it went on really well. Most of the colors in this line are cremes, nothing too special but great for layering glitters and other toppers over.

These polishes as far as I know can only be found at CVS/Longs Drugs. You can pick these up for $7.99 each. They have cute tops with either her face on them in her flower headpiece of other images related to her life and artwork.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Sinful Colors: Kylie Trend Matters: Kold Kash

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

I am back today with another Kylie: Trend Matters polish from Sinful Colors.

This one is called Kold Kash. It is a very pretty light blue turquoise with green shimmer. I did two coats by itself.

Application was great. It dries to a nice matte finish with a bit of shine. It goes well with Sinful Colors new camo glitter toppers, it makes a really nice base color.

You can pick this polish and more Sinful Colors at your local Walgreens.

That is all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Formula X for Sephora Sparkle and Shine

*Polishes Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

I have another post today on some recent polishes that I picked up when I went to Ross one day.

I work at Ross, and we love to sell trios of Formula X by Sephora polishes. A bunch of them don't interest me, but sometimes we sell a pack of three that I love. I picked up one, and kept two for myself and gave one away to my mom.

I did a manicure using the two colors that I kept for myself. The colors I used are called Astonishing and Outburst. Astonishing is on my pointer, middle, and pinkie fingers and Outburst is on my ring finger.

Astonishing is a medium-dark purple filled with silver, pink, and purple shimmer. It dries to a textured finish. I did two coats by itself.

Outburst is a sheer blue jelly glitter polish. It could be used as a topper but I used it by itself. It has a medium blue base packed with silver and turquoise small and medium hex and circle glitters. I did three coats by itself.

I love these colors. Application was great. I am still a big fan of texture polishes, so Astonishing was a huge winner for me, and you guys know I love glitter polishes like you won't believe.

Formula X by Sephora polishes can be purchased at Sephora, and you can check out your local Ross to see if they have any in stock. At Sephora, these retail for $12.50 each.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Sinful Colors Kylie Collection: Trend Matters

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys!

I am back today with another polish from Kylie Jenner's Sinful Colors collection.

This time, this one comes from her Trend Matters line from her collection.

This polish is called Konstellation. It is a grey to purple matte duochrome. I did two coats by itself.

Application was great. In pictures it is hard to tell the shift but it is noticeable in person and in the light. This color also has a lovely shimmer of silver and blue.

As you know, these polishes can be purchased from Walgreens and retail at $2.99 each.

That is all I have for you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!
