Urban Outfitters Oyster

*Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I have the third of the five polishes I picked up from Urban Outfitters to show you today. Well, make that third and fourth, as I am going to show you another color that I used in this mani.

The first color I put on was Urban Outfitters' Dreamy. This is a cornflower blue polish with very subtle shimmer. I did two coats but I could have done with another coat in my opinion.

Application was perfect. I just love this color, but I am a sucker for any blue basically.

I topped Dreamy off with this lovely shimmer shifter shade, called Oyster. In the bottle, it has a shift of white, purple, and pink. It gives a nice shimmer to Dreamy and makes the color a little more on the purple side.

Application was great. I did two coats to help this topcoat pop out more in photos. It is still quite hard to see, but I hope you can tell something is there.

Here is a blurry shot of Oyster to show the shifting properties of this topcoat. You can see the purple in it more here.

Well, that's all I have to show you guys today, I hope you enjoyed. If you have picked up any Urban Outfitter polishes and/or swatched them, show me! Comment with pics or swatches, I'd love to see them.

I'll talk to you guys later. Bye!

Urban Outfitters' Chilly

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today with another one of those lovely polishes that I picked up on my trip to Vegas a few weeks back.

It is another stunner from Urban Outfitters' polish line. They just make such fabulous polishes, I wish I could buy them in Hawaii.

The one I wanted to show you guys today is called Chilly. This seems super similar, if not exactly like, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's Grape Shifter. This is a glitter topper that is made up of micro blurple glitter, small purple glitter, and medium silver glitter. It was packed enough with glitter that I decided to use it by itself.

I did three coats alone. It applied well, but it was the worst to remove, as is with all glitter polishes so that is nothing new. I really love this color, it is so gorgeous!

If you guys have an Urban Outfitters in your area, unlike me, go now and pick this up. If you don't, check their shop online. If you can't do that either, then go to your local CVS, Walgreens, Target, Kamrt, or Walmart and try to find the Sally Hansen Insta Dri dupe in Grape Shifter. Either way, you need this in your life!

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys for now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Nail Nation 3000: The Memphis Blues Swatches and Review

*Product Sent to Me for Review

Hey guys! I am back today with a polish from a brand I haven't tried out yet, Nail Nation 3000. This brand was one of the sponsors in my giveaway that just ended at the end of last week.

I was sent a package from Nail Nation 3000 with the winner's polish from my giveaway, to be sent to the winner from my end. In the package, she was so nice to include an extra polish for myself to keep and try out. She said I could choose which polish I wanted to keep, and this one was screaming my name.

Nail Nation 3000 is a brand that has been around for almost three years. They are a pretty big indie brand. They currently have 30 polishes for sale in their shop over on Storenvy, and their big sellers are holos.

The polish that I picked is called The Memphis Blues. As described on her Storenvy page, the color is:

"This is a smooth smoky shifty shade. That has as much soul as the actual Memphis Blues. This U of M blue filled with a smoky fuchsia metallic tone and a soft holo shift".

I think this is such a gorgeous polish. I love how the shift is a light purple holo. This is such a unique color, I don't think I have anything quite exactly like this. Application was great, I did three coats just to be consistant, as I usually try to do three coats.

Nail Nation 3000 polishes are sold on her Storenvy page like I mentioned. They range in price from $7.00 - $8.50/$9 for treatments/cuticle oil, and $8.50 - $15 for polishes.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this post, that's all I have for now. I'll talk to you guys later, bye!

Huge Polish/Cosmetics Blogger Giveaway in the Works

Hey guys! Back again so soon after my last post, not even 10 mins but I had to share with you guys my upcoming plans.

I planned after my huge indie polish maker giveaway that I would do the same after it was done, but instead indie polish makers, I would make it for polish/cosmetic bloggers.

I have been doing giveaways where I have been having sponsors, polish makers, put up a prize for my viewers/likers/followers for the past two or three. I haven't done one where it was bloggers, and also where I actually gave away something MYSELF (because shipping is so high I try not to do it SOO much, it's not that I am cheap), that I figured it was time for me to do one.

I have saved up a nice stash of polishes so my prize will be full and lovely!

I am just looking now for a ton of my polish and cosmetic blogger fans/followers/likers and friends who would love to participate with me and put up a prize! I could do the giveaway solo, but it's more fun with a lot of people! Probably after this one, after I give it some time and rest from giveaways, I will do a solo one, but this one will be with a bunch of girls.

So any polish bloggers or cosmetics bloggers that follow my blog and/or Facebook page and want to be a part of a giveaway of mine, let me know! Comment on this post here letting me know and/or message me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/thepolishdiva

I hope I get a huge response and will make this a nice big giveaway with many chances for people to win some lovely products!

Well, that's all I have for you guys now. I will have something up on Instagram soon advertising my giveaway, so look out for that. I will talk to you all later, bye!

New York Color Top of the Gold Top Coat

*Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I have something new to show you that I spotted out shopping this weekend.

This weekend, I went shopping with my mom at CVS, and I noticed some new, or at least new to me, topcoats from NYC (New York Color). I was shocked as it takes like forever and a day for any displays in any stores here to update with new makeup products, so when I saw them I had to pick them up.

One of the new topcoats that I picked up was their new gold leaf effect topcoat called Top of the Gold. You have probably seen brands like OPI and such come out with 18k or so gold topcoat flakies. While this polish does not include any real gold, this is supposed to simulate the effect that one of those types of topcoats gives.

Before I show you this lovely topcoat, I'd like to show you guys the polish that I topped this over. This is another NYC polish, from their Long Wearing line. The name of this one is Wine Bar, and the name fits the color perfectly. This is a nice red wine, burgundy color. I did two coats. I could have done with three, but I thought two looked nice.

I topped it with the Top of the Gold topcoat. I decided on two coats just for a really gold effect. I love this topcoat, it delivers what it says it will. I love the flakie look of it.

NYC Long Wearing nail enamel retails for $0.99 and NYC Top of the Gold retails for $1.99. This topcoat may be limited edition, I am not sure on that, so if you like what you see pick it up as soon as you can. I found mine at CVS, but you may be able to find this at any store that sells NYC products.

Well, that's all I have for you guys today! I hope you enjoyed! I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

Urban Outfitters' Baby Boy

*Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today with a polish I purchased on my recent trip to Las Vegas.

This is a polish from the store Urban Outfitters' polish line. They have such unique polishes and they had a deal going where you could get 2 for $8, so I picked up five on my trip there. I wish Hawaii had an Urban Outfitters because they have such unique things there, but sadly Hawaii is void of many great shops that you continental US (mainland) folks have.

Well, the color of the bunch that I have up to show you today is called Baby Boy. This color I sort-of showed you guys on Sunday when I used it to layer over one of the Dazzle Glaze polishes. This is an aqua blue cream polish. In photos is appears more of a sky blue.

Sorry if my hand position looks weird in these photos. The bottles are square, so they have 90 degree angles and bottles shaped like that I have a hard time getting my fingers to cooperate.

Like I said, these polishes are sold just at Urban Outfitters as far as I know as they are made under their brand. I think their polishes are worth going out of your way to one of their stores to get, they are so pretty! Each polish retails for $5, and often you can find a basket of some of these beauties on sale for $0.99, which this one so happened to be one of them!

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys today. I hope you enjoyed, and if you have any Urban Outfitter polishes you'd like to show me, or even show me your Urban Outfitter polish collection if you have any (I am dying to know if anyone does), link in the comments!

That's all for now, talk to you guys later! Bye!

Radiantly Vivacious' Dazzle Glaze Swatches and Review

*Products Sent to Me for Review

Hey guys! I am back today with a great review from a new-ish brand I discovered just a few months ago, called Radiantly Vivacious.

Radiantly Vivacious is a brand that does cell phone cases, home decor, wedding trinkets, and nail polish. Their nail polish line is called Dazzle Glaze.

In their nail polish line, they do a lot of duochromes and glitter nail polishes.

I was sent three gorgeous polishes to review. Here is the preview:

The first one I have up to show you is called Shadows Bring the Starlight. This is a duochrome that shifts between blue, green, and purple. It is inspired by the musical Spring Awakening. I did three coats. I love colors like this, super gorgeous. I had no problems with application, but it did take a long time to dry and I had some smudges and needed to redo once or twice.

The next one up is called Electric Aquarius. This is a glitter topper mixed with a variety of blue and green glitters which make it appear teal in the bottle. The name is taken from the 60s psychadelic rock musical Hair. I did one coat over three coats of Urban Outfitters' Baby Boy. I had no problems with application.

The last one that I have up to show you guys is called Love Insurance. This may be my favorite of the three that I was sent. The color is described as "pink-purple crelly with metallic dark pink and matte purple glitter pieces". The name of this polish is taken from the song "Paris Original" from the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Trying. I did three coats alone. I had a hard time getting any of the glitter out, so you can only see a couple on each nail.

Radiantly Vivacious' Dazzle Glaze polish line, and their other products, can be purchased on their Storenvy page. Prices for their polishes range from $7.50 to $8.50, so they are super affordable!

I hope you guys enjoyed my review! That's all I have to share with you guys today, so I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

Jonesy Lou Lacquer Swatches and Review

*Sent to Me for Review

Hey guys! Today I bring to you a great review of four polishes from a new-ish brand, Jonesy Lou Lacquer.

Jessica of Jonesy Lou Lacquer started her polish making endevors, and brand, in September of 2013. She loves to both hoard and create polish. A majority of her polishes are glitters and jellies, two types that I just love.

I was sent her four piece Pet Shop Collection to swatch, and boy, I will say now that I love all of them! Here is a preview of what's to come in a second:

The first one I have up to show you is called Goldie. Jessica describes this color as "a metallic orange polish with gold hexes and orange and gold micro glitter. This was inspired by my goldfish that I had for a really long time.". I did three coats for this one. I had no problems with application. I love this color, and I am usually not an orange fan, but I love that it is a golden orange.

Next up, this one is called Shai. Jessica describes the color as "a polish inspired by my 9 year old husky. It's a gray crelly with filled with blue, black, and silver holo glitters." I did three coats. I had no problems with application. This one is my favorite of the four I was sent. I am not a big gray fan, but the mix of blue, black, and silver glitters just makes the grey appear a bit on the blue side and very appealing.

The third one that I have to show you is called Lux. I always have a hard tim with black jellies for some reason, so I apologize now if you don't like this swatch as good as the others, but I did what I could as application for me was difficult. Jessica describes the polish as " a black jelly that is filled with silver, turquoise, and teal glitters.  This was inspired by my  black German Shepard.". I did three coats. I will say that I just LOVE the glitters in this polish, especially the large circle ones, it really makes this color unique.

The last one I have up in this collection is called Tango. She describes the polish as "a white crelly filled with red, yellow, and peach glitters. This was inspired by my cockatiel that I had for many years.". I did three coats, but it still came out very sheer and you can see some visible nail line, but I didn't think this polish was THAT thin that it should be over another color. Plus, I love to show how the colors appear without undies. I had no problems at all with application.

Jonesy Lou Lacquer can be purchased on her Big Cartel page. She currently had 18 polishes up for sale, although this collection I just showed you is not up for sale just yet. Her prices range from $8-$11, which is very affordable for an indie. Also, you can pick up her latest collection for Valentine's day, which includes five polishes, for just $25.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed my review, because I enjoyed swatching them a lot! That's all I have for you guys tonight! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

MAC Vagabondage

*Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I am going to show you one of the polishes that I picked up on my trip to Vegas that I came back from on Friday.

In Vegas, they had two outlet malls there, North and South, and we visited them both twice during our trip. In one of the outlet malls, I can't remember which one, they had a store called The Cosmetics Company.

In this store, they had high end cosmetics for a bit of a discount. Not like 50% off or anything, but a little discount. I saw they had a number of MAC polishes for sale, some for $11.25, and some for $12.50. I saw one that I really liked and since this would be my first ever MAC polish, I had to get it.

This polish, you probably will be able to tell that this is a polish that was meant for me! This is MAC Vagabondage, a nice pink polish. I would say it is between a light pink and a medium pink. It is a creme. I used three coats with a gel topcoat.

I apologize for the sides of my nails, the cold weather in Vegas wrecked them badly and made them so dry.

MAC polishes retail for $16, but I picked this one up for around $11.25. Around 30% off, which isn't A LOT, but for a high end brand that I never have seen on sale in stores, that's a good deal.

Well, that's all I have to show you guys today. I hope you enjoyed, and I will talk to you all later. Bye!

Back From Trip and Results!

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back from my trip to Vegas. I was gone since Sunday night and came back yesterday afternoon. I guess I was so tired, I slept from 4:30pm until 7:30am. I wasn't able to make this post yesterday, so here I am today!

I told you guys I would let you know how well my polish held up over my trip, and I am! It said it would last for up to 10 days, but sadly, that didn't happen. Probably because I used the wrong top coat, but I don't have too many top coats, so I just used what I could.

After just one day, some nails began to chip. Then, after just a couple days, a lot of it began to come off, and here is what they looked like after just a few days:

As you can see, the weather took a toll on my nails too and broke some of them.

While I don't recommend this polish for it's claim of lasting 10 days, at least in my case, I would still buy it again because I typically don't have good results with most nail polishes in terms of lasting more than a day or two.

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys today. Talk to you guys later, bye!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Violet Metal

*Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I have something a little different that I am going to do here.

I am going on a trip to Vegas with my mom today, and I will be gone for the next five days. I decided to paint my nails with a Rimmel Lasting Pro polish as it says on the bottle it will last 10 days.

This is Violet Metal, a deep purple with duochrome properties.

I want to see if this polish will last the full 5 days I am away with no chips or hardly any. I only topped it with a clear polish from Color Club, and the base is the calcium treatment from LA Colors.

My next post will be on the results of this polish, and hopefully I will have great things to tell you. I mean, if it does chip, it's alright, I will continue to buy these polishes as most polish chips fast for me anyways so it's whatever. I just want to see if the claims that it can last up to 10 days are true.

Well, stay tuned for the update when I get back from my trip guys! Talk to all then, bye!
