L.A. Girl Splatter Three-Piece Set

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I have another post tonight with a trio of polishes that I picked up last week that I think you guys will love, if you haven't already seen them and own them.

I recently went to one of the newer TJMaxx stores in my state with my mom. I was just looking around, picked up some shorts and an OPI Liquid Sand polish. I just decide to glance in the girls section. In their toys and accessories section, at an endcap, I noticed some polishes. I take another look and spot a package of three L.A. Girl polishes.

These three polishes that I have up to show you are from their Splatter collection. Here is a preview of the three.

The first one that I have up to show you is called Splash. This is a white and mint green glitter topper with glitters of different sizes. I did one coat over Jordana Creamy Fuchsia. Application was great. I think this is such a pretty color, and super unique.

The second one I have up to show you guys is called Sputter. This is a white and dark purple glitter topper with various sizes of glitter. I did one coat over Jordana Island Fuchsia. Application was great. I love this topper, it really stands out.

Last up, this one is called Sprinkle. This is a dark pink and white glitter topper of various sizes of glitter. I did one coat over Jordana Mardi Gras. Application was great. I love a great, bold pink glitter, and it really stands out over super dark colors.

Overall, these glitter toppers are fabulous. No problems, just goes on nicely, and they give such a cute look to any polish color you top it over. I high recommend these polishes if you haven't tried them yet. I have heard that L.A. Girl polishes are only sold at Rite Aid. I suggest checking the girls or kids accessories section at your local TJMaxx or Marshall's though, you may get lucky like I did and find a set.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this post. That's all I have for you guys for today. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Jordana Love

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today with a great post of some polishes, from a brand that I feel is really overlooked and undervalued.

Jordana polishes came out way back when. I am not sure exactly, but they have been around for quite a long time.

I don't see this brand being given as much love as I feel it should get. It is likely because it is so cheap, and lots of people equate cheap with crappy or junk, so they don't give it the time of day. A lot of the cheaper polishes I have tried, they are better than some of the super pricey ones.

I have five beauties up to show you guys.

Here is a preview of what I am going to show you all.

The first polish that I have up to show you guys is called Raspberry. This is a dark pink polish with a lilac flash. I did around two coats for the swatch. Application was fantastic. I love colors like this so much!

The next one that I have up to show you is called Silky Purple. This is your typical lavender cream polish, but it is still very pretty. I did two coats. Application was great.

Next, this is called Lilac Hearts. This is a clear/white glitter topper with lilac colored hearts and holo micro glitter. I did two coats to get more of the holographic glitter to appear on the nail. Sorry for my ring finger, it kinda pulled a little on that one, but that was because I didn't have enough polish on the brush. It wasn't the polish itself. Application was great besides that.

Fourth up, this one is called Creamy Fuchsia. This is a bright, corally pink polish. It is more pink and brighter than my swatch shows, my camera has trouble with, well, everything. I did two coats by itself. I had no problems with application.

Fifth, this one was one of my favorites of the bunch. This one has my favorite name too, Island Fuchsia. This one is a medium pink with a lavender flash that makes the pink appear to have more purple tones. I did three coats by itself. Application was fantastic. This is such a unique color, I totally recommend this one.

Last up, this one is called Mardi Gras. This is a dark purple polish that flashes blue in the light. I did three coats by itself. Application was great, no issues at all. I also really loved this color, this is one I recommend you pick up from their collection.

If you have never tried any Jordana polishes before, I suggest you go and pick some up! All of the colors I have ever tried from them have been great, so I think any color you pick up you will be very pleased with! These polishes can be found in any place that sells Jordana, such as CVS, Walgreens, and Kmart. They retail for $1.99 when not on sale.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

NYX Swatches and Review

*Products Swapped For or Bought By Me

Hey guys! I am back today with a great post filled with a bunch of lovely polishes, this time from the drugstore (and possibly department store) brand, NYX.

I swatched a group of five of them, all in the same color family.

Here is a preview of what I have up to show you:

The first one that I have up to show you guys is called Surf. this is a nice, bright minty blue with a hint of shimmer. I did three coats by itself. Application was fantastic!

The next one that I have up to show you is called Turquoise Glitter, and that's exactly what it is. Turquoise glitter in a clear-ish base. This one is best over another color, but I decided to swatch it alone because, you know how I did. I did three coats by itself. Application was great. The turquoise color didn't show through with my camera, but it is there.

Next, this one is called Bejeweled. This one is a turquoise-blue duochrome. I did around three coats by itself. This is such a pretty color, but hard, at least for me, to capture on camera. Application again was great!

Fourth up, this one is called Blue Glitter. This is what the name says, blue glitter, along with some that look like holo glitter, in a super sheer blue base. This one would do good over another color. Application was great. It took a little time to dry, but that's all.

The last one that I have for you guys is so pretty, but was a huge pain. This one is called Beach Glitter. This is a turquoise and dark blue glitter packed polish. I did three coats by itself. Application was fine, but it took FOREVER to dry. I mean it. I waited half an hour, then an hour, and then an hour and a half, and nothing. Still sticky. Even with topcoat, it was sticky.

I'd recommend any of these except for Beach glitter. Maybe on coat over another color would have helped it not to stay wet for so long, but I am not sure. These polishes look great for glitter toppers and nail art and everything. I totally suggest picking some up, so long a no more are like Beach Glitter.

These retail for around $4, at all retailers that have an NYX display, such as CVS.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Girly and Pink Freeze

*Products Swapped For

Hey guys!

Today I have some more Revlon polishes to show you guys. Two lovely polishes that are in the pink family.

Revlon polishes have always interested me. They are a little more on the pricey side for drugstore polishes, and the variety of colors isn't always fantastic, but for some reason I just always want some.

I picked up two lovelies in some of the swaps that I have done this year. One that I had been considering for a while, and another I haven't seen before, as it could possibly be older or discontinued.

Before I get to talking about each polish, take a preview of the polish pretties.

The first one that I have up for you guys is called Pink Freeze. This is a metallic dark pink. I did three coats by itself. It goes on a little streaky, but with three coats, it isn't so bad. I haven't seen this in their regular displays at Walgreens/CVS/Target/Kmart/Walmart, so I think this one is an older color.

The second one is called Girly. I kinda did it backwards in the title and banner, but it's alright! This one is a super sheer, crelly-ish light pink filled with small and marge magenta/fuchsia and light pink glitter. I did three coats by itself, but for full coverage, either do maybe four coats, or top it over another color. Application was great, no issues at all. This is such a fun color that everyone needs in their collection, I think.

If you have any favorite Revlon polishes that you have tried and are in your collection, let me know. These two are wonderful and may have made my favorites list. I know Girly did!

Well, that's all i have to show you guys for now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

AE Nail Color Swatches and Review

*Purchased By Moi

Hey guys! How are you all today? Sorry for not posting a while again. I have not been feeling into painting my nails, and then one nail, not on my swatch hand, my cat snagged in the corner of the nail and it bled so it made me not want to do nails for a little bit.

Decided to get up off my butt and swatch something yesterday.

What I have for you guys is a couple of polishes that you may not have ever seen before. These come from everyone's favorite store (okay, maybe not everyone, but I love them), American Eagle Outfitters. They have their own polish line, and the last couple of times I went to the mall, they had their polishes on clearance to $1.99 from $7.95. Most of the colors didn't speak to me, but two beauties caught my eyes, and I am here today to show you my finds!

Before I get started, here is a preview of the polishes.

The first of the two that i have up to show you is called Shining Sea. This is a very gritty turquoise glitter polish. It is almost like a texture in my opinion, but I can't say for sure. I did two coats by itself. Application was fantastic. I love this polish, it is so pretty and unique.

Second of the two, this one is called Mezmerizing Midnight. This is a super dark navy polish that shifts medium blue in the light. It also can appear a super dark purple depending on the light. I did two coats by itself. Application was fantastic! This is a color I think everyone needs to have in their collection.

These polishes are available at American Eagle Outfitters stores, and maybe their factory stores. They are not up on their website as of the last time I checked. Hurry now if you like them, they may still be on sale for $1.99 each, if they are still there even.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Nicole by OPI Roughles Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased for Me

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting much, just haven't been in the polishing mood lately.

I was up to finishing swatching a couple of lovely polishes for you guys that if you haven't already heard of and seen already, you will totally love. Just so long as you are a texture polish fan like I am.

My mom recently picked up two of the Nicole by OPI Roughles polishes for me. She found them at one of the Longs Drugs/CVS stores here, and they were clearenced for $1.99 each! Most other Longs stores, they are still $7.99, so she had to snap them up.

These two are some of my favorite polish colors to wear. Here is a preview:

The first of the two that I have to show you is called I'm Stucco On You. This is a nice lilac texture with blue and pink glitter. I did four coats because I made boo boos, but you can totally just do two and get the same coverage. Application was great, I only got boo boos because I never let things dry.

The second one that I have to show you guys is called On What Grounds? This is a turquoise-green texture polish mixed with blue and pink glitter. My swatch shows the color a little more green than it is in real life. I did three coats for this one, but you can probably get away with two. Application was great, I had issues with one nail because again, I am so not patient.

I love texture polishes, and these don't disappoint. They are nice and gritty like a good texture should be. Depending on how you polish your nails, the texture may not be as gritty, but I tried to get it to come out as gritty as it could. I completely recommend these polishes to you guys. If you don't already have one or more, pick them up!

These retail for $7.99 in CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart, and other stores, unless you are lucky to find them on sale like my mom did.

Well, that's all I have for you guys for now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Maybelline Color Show Swatches and Review

*Products either bought by me or swapped for

Hey guys! Sorry it has been a while since I made a post. I have been working until around 6 or 7 at night lately, and my swatches come out best during the daylight, so I wasn't able to do a lot of swatching.

I was finally able to finish the last two swatches today so that I was able to get this post up for you guys.

Today I have 10 lovely Maybelline Color Show polishes to show you guys. These polishes are fantastic, and I love every single one!

Here is a collage of all of the beauties together.

The first one that I have up to show you guys is called Blue Marks the Spot, from their Polka Dots line. This is dusty blue jelly polish filled with micro white and black glitter, small black glitter, and large black and white hex glitter. This is three coats by itself. Application was great! This is super sheer, so if you are one of those who gets major anxiety from seeing visible nail, you can use a blue polish underneath.

Next up, this one is called Drops of Jade, also from their Polka Dots line. This is a minty green jelly polish filled with the same glitter that the above one is. I did around three coats. This one, the base is more substantial, so there is less visible nail line. Application was great.

Third up, this one is called Coral Crush. This one is your typical coral colored cream polish. I did around three coats. Application was great. As you may relate to, this bright color was hard to photograph, so this was the best snap. I love this color, but I always love a nice coral.

Fourth, this one is called Iced Queen. This is a nice grey-toned lilac polish. I can't remember if I did two or three coats on this one, I believe it was two coats. Application was great. My camera hates purple polishes with a passion, so this sadly was the best shot I was able to get.

This next one is a personal favorite of mine. I believe this one I took with my smartphone. This is called Styled Out, from their Denims line (or duo, I believe). It is a metallic-y silvery dark blue. I did around three coats. Application was a breeze. I wore this one for a full manicure after the swatch, and it wears pretty good, for someone with weak nails like me.

Another one that I loved is this one, from their Holographic (or what I wish they would rename their duochrome), line. This is Lavender Lustre. This is a silver-y lavender metallicy-y duochome. I did around three coats for this one. Application was fantastic, again. This is such a fun, unique color.

Seventh, this one is called Diamond in the Rough. This is one that I have shown you before, but wanted to try swatching it again, as last time it didn't work out. This is a flakie shifter topper. I did around one coat over Rimmel 60 Seconds Do Not Disturb. Application was great. The base is kinda a yellow-y clear, so that's why the teal of the Rimmel polish looks a little yellowish.

Next, this one is Gilded Rose. This is a dusty rose gold glitter polish. It is filled with small and large rose gold glitters, and a sheer rose gold base. This one can be worn alone or over another color. I did three coats by itself to see how well it was able to build up. Application was great.

Ninth, this one is from their new Veil line. This is called Teal Beam. This one is a minty-teal glitter topper. with some silvery white glitter throughout. It goes on the nail with very little shine. I did three coats by itself just to see how well it could build up. Application was great and wear time was great, wore it to the mall as I was unable to swatch after I painted my nails as my camera died. Because of that, this was taken with my smartphone.

Last up, this one is called Crystal Disguise, also from their Veils line. This is a frosty white-blue shifter topper. I wanted to see if it could build up again, because you know me, so I did three coats by itself. Application is fantastic, glides on so smoothly. This is best over another color, it didn't build up like I wanted. Camera was still dead, so this was also taken with my smartphone, so sorry for the lack of quality.

Maybelline Color Show polishes can be purchased in basically any drugstore, grocery, or superstore (like Walmart, Target, Kmart, etc.). These retail for between $3-$5, depending on the area and what store you choose to shop at.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post and aren't too mad it took me a while to complete it. I hope it was worth it though, I feel it was!

Well, that's all I have for you guys right now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!
