Saturday's Mani: Subtle Holo Goodness

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back finally with another post. I am here to show you a few days old mani that I did and photographed on Saturday night. I just forgot to upload the pics earlier because I was really thinking SO HARD about what to do for my identity project for my papermaking class I am taking at my college.

I used Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fuchsia, over LVX Cashmere. Topping it over this color really brought out the pink of the Kleancolor polish and made the flecks take on a bit of the color of the polish. I did around three coats of Chunky Holo Fuchsia.

I love the look of this, very subtle. But I wish the holo flecks appeared more fuchsia in photos.

Well, that's all I have for you guys today, I hope you enjoyed! Bye!

Dreamy Lacquer Company Swatches and Review

*Products Sent for Review

Hey guys! Told you I would be back later today with another post. I have three lovely polishes to show you from a new indie brand, Dreamy Lacquer Company.

Dreamy Lacquer Company have been around since November of last year, but have only had a handful of sales from what I can tell, which shocks me since they have such unique polishes.

Let's get to seeing what I was sent, yes? Sorry for the hangnails and stuff again guys, also pictures were taken with cuticle oil on my nails so some may look odd.

First up, this one is my favorite of the three, called Butterfly Bliss. As described by Dana from Dreamy Lacquer, this is "A baby pink jelly packed with spring inspired glitters: silver holographic butterflies, gold holographic hexes, sky blue diamonds, and a scattering of yellow flowers. It's a springtime explosion!" I did three coats for this swatch. When applied, the polish pulled a little, but with three coats it evened out well.

This next one is called Daffodil Days. I appologize so much for the hangnail line, especially on my middle finger. I didn't see that when I was taking pictures. Dana describes this color as "A pretty blue jelly the color of a clear April sky, packed with spring inspired glitters: yellow flowers, two sizes of white hex clouds, and two shades of green bar stems and grass. Why wait for the groundhog to tell you spring is here when you can wear it any time you want?" I did three coats for the swatch and application was the same as Butterfly Bliss.

The last one I have up to show you, which was quite difficult to photograph, is 2 Girls, 1 Imitation. this color is described as "a deep blue jelly packed with silver micro glitter to look like stars in the night sky...a tribute to that one particular polish that's so hard to find, but near and dear to our hearts!" I did three coats for this swatch and application was the same as the first two.

Dana was so nice, the first package she tried to send me a few months ago got damaged in transit and she was only alerted about it at the beginning of this month. I believe because of this, she sent me 4 mini polishes with the three to review. Just wanted to show you guys these little beauties in a bottle shot.

Dreamy Lacquer Company's polishes can be purchases in their Storenvy shop or their website. Their prices range from $3.25 for minis, $8 for their regular polishes, and $10 for holos.

Dana has set up a special code for my followers. Until December 15, use the code Diva10 for 10% off your order in her shop.

I hope you enjoyed the swatches and forgive me sad nails right now! Well, that's all I have to show you today, bye!

Wet n Wild Fergie Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I am back with some more fabulous polishes to show you!

I have three polishes from Wet n Wild's Fergie line to show you. These were bought by me, two of them last week during Walgreen's buy 1 get 1 50% off Wet n Wild sale. So I picked one up for the regular price of $3.50 and another for $1.25.

Let's get to the swatches right away, I can't wait to show you these beauties. Excuse me for the yucky sides of my nails, dry and hard to remove glitter were the issues.

First up, I have to show you Dutchess. I swatched this one before, but I have gotten better at hand poses and swatching since then so I redid the swatch. This is a dark blue polish with micro blue and small purple glitter throughout. I really LOVE this color, it's gorgeous.

Second up, this one is called Fergalicious. This is a neon/hot pink. It is much brighter than my camera captured. I did three coats for this swatch.

Last up, I have to show you Ferguson Crest Syrah. This one is a polish that appears one way in the bottle, but photographs totally differently. In the bottle, it is a dark pink glittery shimmer with bright pink and gold duochrome tendencies. In the photo, which to get it accurate to what I saw online, the swatch is not as bright as the other too. It appears like a black polish with purple glitter and shimmer. I did three coats.

Each polish went on well, no problems with application and I definitely recommend you going to Walgreens before the sale is over and picking up these and more from their Fergie line!

I hope you guys enjoyed my swatches, I'll be back later today with a great review, but for now, bye!

Shimmer Polish Swatches and Review

 *Products Sent for Review

Hey guys, sorry it's been a little while since a post on my blog, four days. I have some beauties to show you tonight though that I think you will love.

A few months ago I was sent some polish from Shimmer Polish to review, and just this weekend I was lucky to get some more sent to me to review, with others for a surprise.

I have three great glitter polishes up to show you all, so let's get right to it.

The first one I have up for you is called Jennifer, a "Soft Blue, Periwinkle Glitter Polish!" as described by Yorba of Shimmer Polish. This is one coat over Revlon Enchanting. I love the micro blue glitters in this.

Next up is Leslie. This one is described as a "Lavender, Periwinkle Glitter Polish!". I did one coat over Wet n Wild Fergie Fergalicious for this swatch. It applied well, as did the last one. A lot of glitter comes up in one coat, there is no need for a second.

The last one up that I have to show you is called Courtney. This one is described as "Rainbow mix of glitter! Similar to Nichole and Julie but more Reds and Blues." I did one coat again, this time over Kleancolor Kawaii Stuff. Application was great, I love how the red pops out when put over this blue polish.

I hope you guys enjoyed my review of these Shimmer Polishes. Since I reviewed them once before, I feel I don't need to post links again, check out my previous Shimmer Polish review for links!

Well, that's all I have for you guys today. Talk to you guys later, bye!

1000 Likes Giveaway in the Works

Hey guys!

Nothing to review or show to you right now.

I am just here to let you know of what I have up my sleeve for my blog and Facebook page.

A week or two ago, I came up with the idea to have another giveaway, but have it when I hit the huge milestone of 1k likes on my Facebook page. I am currently at 741 likes, so I still have a ways to go.

Now what kind of giveaway will I do this time? It is similar to last time, but even better! If that is even possible.

I am planning to have it be sponsored completely by polish brands. This time, it is for both BIG and small indie polish brands, or just any polish brands in general, though I don't think any mainstream brands will be contacting me to join, sorry.

Now, I need something from you guys to help me out with this giveaway. Oh yes, a giveaway this glamorous can't be put together all by myself.

I would LOVE for you guys to comment or message me on my Facebook page, which you can find at the top of my blog, if you are, or you know of, an indie or other polish brand that would just LOVE to participate in this giveaway. This will help to get more fans, customers, and more for both you and me, more advertising in a sense too.

Also, I'd love one more thing from you guys. If you could share my page on Facebook to get it closer to 1k, that would be just fantastic.

I am not begging, or making anyone help me out in any way, but if you could, that would just be great!

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys right now. Bye!

Nail Tisane Swatches and Review

*Products Sent for Review

Hey guys! I am back to show you some lovely polishes from Nail Tisane, a small indie polish maker.

Nail Tisane is run by Danii in Richmond, Virgina. Their shop has been open for over 3 years, but are still small in terms of sales, which I think needs to change as they have so many great polishes to choose from.

I was sent four minis in the colors of my choosing to review. Let's get right to them!

The first one I hae up to show you is called "The Horseman's Head". It is described by Danii as follows:

"For such a ghoulish subject, it's such a pretty polish! Inspired by one of my new favorite television shows, this one's a milky green with grey and green glitters."

I did four coats for this swatch. The color is so sheer that four coats didn't help to make it opaque, and it appeared more of a super light yellow-green. I love the glitters in this though.

Next up, this one is my favorite one of the four I was sent. This is called "Ultros Glam". It is described by Danii as follows:

"Uwee hee hee! What have we here? A purple glitter polish in honor of everyone's favorite opera-crashing octopus!"

I did three coats. In the light, it has a bit of duochrome properties which make it look blue, but not sure if my picture shows that well though.

Third up, this one is "The Haunted What?", which comes from their collaboration with wtfbadromancecovers.tumblr.com. This is described as Danii's collaborator as follows:

"And then there's this. Given its subject matter, this nail polish really has no business being as nice as it is, but this glam, glittery pink stuff manages to be true to the source material and yet disturbingly quite pretty."

I did three coats. It is still sheer, but I think it looks very pretty. I love the glitters in this one too.

The last one that I have up to show you is called "Emerald City Towers". Danii describes this polish as: "A shimmering emerald green with iridescent rainbow sparkles hidden within. Perfect for the fashionable girl-about-town in the EC." I call this a teal green. I did three coats for the swatch.

Application on all was pretty perfect, no issues from me, just so long as you give it a little time between coats at least and don't rush it.

Nail Tisane has a shop on Etsy. Her prices range from $5-$12 and she has 43 different polishes for sale.

I hope you guys liked these polishes and swatches. Well, that's all I have to show you guys today. Bye!

Sephora By OPI Swatches and Review

Hey guys. Today I am back with another bunch of polishes to show you.

This time, I have four lovely polishes from the now discontinued brand, Sephora by OPI.

Let's get right to the swatches.

The first one I have up to show you is called Violet's Just Get Married. This is a mauve purple polish with duchrome properties. This is three coats. I love this color.

Next, this one is called Merry Me. This is a red glitter filled polish. This is three coats. It was hard to photograph with all of the glitter.

The third polish I have to show you is called I'm So Sari!. This is another glitter packed polish, this time this one is teal. I did three coats. This one was also tough to photograph.

The last one I have up to show you is called Teal We Meet Again. This is a blue green polish that has the look of a duochrome but isn't. I couldn't for the life of me get it to appear teal under my light with my camera. I did get one shot with my camera in a shady spot in my room where it appears more true to color, but sorry for the dark photo.

Like I mentioned above, this line is discontinued, but you may be able to find some in your local TJMaxx.

Well, that's all I have for you guys right now, I hope you enjoyed the swatches. Talk to you guys later, bye!

Spoiled by Wet n Wild Swatches and Review

Hey everyone!

I am back today with more Wet n Wild polishes, this time from their Spoiled line.

Just wanna say right now, because of my nub, I am not loving these swatches one bit, and I am cool if you hate the swatches too. Try to focus on the color and not my terrible nails if you could.

Well, let's get to the swatches. Here is a preview of what I have to show you:

First up, this one is called Shrimp on the Barbie. This is a dusty pink that shimmers gold in the light and has tons of micro gold glitter. This is three coats.

Next up, this one is called Distant Memory. This is a green teal polish with a subtle shimmer, but appeared a little blue in photos. This is three coats.

I like this next one, which is called I Gotta Confection to Make. This is a light pink glitter topper with pink and silver holo micro glitters. This is one coat on top of Distant Memory.

This next one, I had a tough time capturing the correct color. It is called Deeper Dive. This is a very deep blue teal polish with subtle gold flakies. I did three coats, and I hard trouble capturing the flakes.

Next up, here is Tip Your Waitress, a bright pink creme. I only did one coat because it covers great in one coat, although it photographed with visible nail line.

Last one that I have to show you, this is Trust Fund Baby. It is a glitter topper filled with blue, magenta, and gold glitters. This polish is pretty much exactly identical to another polish they created, in their Megalast line, called Mixing It Up, which I reviewed the other day.

Here is the swatch. I did one coat on my index and middle, and did multiple on the other two nails but it doesn't appear like it. It was hard get any glitter on my nails, but I think think it looks nice anyways.

Spoiled by Wet n Wild polishes retail for $1.99, and they can be bought at CVS.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post, sorry again for the nub like I say each time, but next time my nails will look better as I filed them down so no more nub.

Well, talk to you guys later, bye!

Super Nails Swatches and Review

Hey guys, I am back again with another great review for you guys. These polishes were sent to me for free for my opinions.

I was sent a trio of minis from a new indie polish brand called Super Nails. Super Nails is run by KC Mikses in Traverse City, MI. Here is what KC says about her brand and why she wanted to make nail polish:

"Our indie polishes are completely homemade, hand mixed and blended.

Super Nails honors the need to preserve our environment, animals and ourselves with safer cosmetic quality nail products. Founded in 2013 on the shores of Lake Michigan, I recognized the need for safer nail polish with 3-free standards, for people who are seeking out products that are better for their health, the environment, and our American economy. Our goal is to make that as easy and as affordable as possible with the highest standards of product quality and customer service. I want nothing more than for every single customer to have a great experience with my nail polish!

All Super Nails polishes are 3-free, meaning they do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP). Also, cruelty free! So... beautiful nail polish, no cancer, or abused animals = win for everyone!

We only use glitters that have been extensively tested to be sure they do not bleed, fleck or curl. All polishes are hand-blended in small batches, so there may be slight variations from batch to batch, but will all be packed with glitters for minimal "fishing"."

I have three glitter beauties up to show you, so lets get to it!

The first one I have up to show you is called Night Out. KC describes the color as "Clear polish base dense with holographic iridescent clear hexes and black hexes". This is three coats. I had no issues with application.

The next one that I have to show you is called Let the Crazy Out. This polish is described on her Etsy as " Clear polish base with large and small matte hot pink, bright blue, yellow, and neon green squares, hexagons, stars and micro glitters." This is three coats. No application problems. I love the variety of colors in this polish.

Last up, this one is called We'll Never Be Royal Blue. It is described as "Blue polish base with large and small holographic silver hexagons, squares, diamonds and shreds." This is four coats, to really get that deep blue color. I had trouble getting any of the larger glitters out.

Super Nails is sold in their Etsy shop. They currently have 34 polishes for sale in their shop, and prices range from $3.99-$7.99, which is super affordable for an indie, and they have so many great colors, so stop by and maybe pick some up!

Well, that's all I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed the post, bye!

Wet n Wild Fast Dry Swatches and Review

Hey guys, I am back today with another bunch of polishes from Wet n Wild. Today I have 8 from their Fast Dry line.

These were a lot of fun to swatch, and I can't wait to show you guys, so here is a preview of all 8:

Sorry again for the nub on the ring finger, but I don't want to have to pause everything for a week or two until it really grows back. So just bare with it until it grows back.

Okay, onto the swatches. The first one, is two swatches of a color that has the same name, but are totally different. Since they have the same name though, I'll show them under the one name. These are called Teal or No Teal. The first one, which is really more teal, I picked up long before the other one. They both are three coats. The first swatch is a more green-ish teal shimmer, and the second is a more aqua-teal shimmer.

Next up is Teal of Fortune. This one, no matter what, would only show up blue when I photographed it. In real life, this color is more of a green-ish teal with microglitters in it. This is three coats.

Third up, this one is called Hannah Pinktana. I swatched this once before, but it was done horribly so I redid it. It's a nice dusty pink polish with lots of pink microglitter. It was sheer, this is three coats.

This one is called How I Met Your Magenta. This is my favorite one of them all. It's a shimmery hot pink. This is three coats.

Next up, this one is one of their more recent ones that was released over the summer. This is called Caught On Sapphire, a glitter topper with light and medium and bright blue glitters with a slight blue shimmer base. I topped it over How I Met Your Magenta.

This next one is called Gray's Anatomy. This is a duochrome, where it has properties of grey, green, and purple. This is three coats. I love the color shift of this one.

The last one that I have to show you guys is the newest one I picked up. This is from their 2012 Holiday collection. It is called Happy Holidaze. this is a green-ish blue micro glitter polish with a sheer green-ish blue base. This is three coats.

Wet n Wild Fast Dry polishes retail for $1.99 each.

I hope you guys enjoyed the swatches and didn't mind my nub again. That's all I have to show you guys for now, so talk to you later. Bye!

My-Stash Lacquer Swatches and Review

Hey guys! I am back today with a review of some lovely polishes from a new indie brand called My-Stash Lacquer.

So that means, no Wet n Wild Fast Dry post today. I will try to get to doing those and having the post up sometime this week.

I was sent four polishes from My-Stash Lacquer. My-Stash opened on September 14 this year. Here is what Danielle from My-Stash has to say about her brand:

"For years I have been following Indie nail polish makers, obsessed with the glitter bombs and colors they would come up with. One day I was looking for a particular shade of grey and couldn't seem to find it in stores or online and decided I would try and "franken" a color myself... with a few supplies and a little time the perfect grey was born and the rest is history...

I have definitely come a long way since that first bottle of polish.. from researching the different type of bases, pigments and glitters that can be used, to finding the perfect label for my bottles... I am truly blessed to be able to make this my full time job, and definitely couldn't do it without the love and support of my family and friends."

Okay, let's get to the swatches. Gotta say sorry right now for my ring finger being so short, it broke a few days ago, but didn't want to make Danielle wait on my review, so I hope her and you don't mind.

The first one I have up to show you is called Electric Cotton Candy. It is a matte hot pink. It appears bright in the bottle, but I had trouble capturing the brightness on my nails and in photos. This is three coats.

Next up, this one is called Boo-Berry. This is a glitter topper with bright blue and silver holo glitters. I topped it over Electric Cotton Candy. My camera had a hard time focusing when trying to take a picture of this, so sadly this was the best shot I got.

This one is called Copper Thief. This is another glitter topper, mixed with copper and rose pink glitters of various sizes. I topped it over Jordana's In Love. My camera had trouble capturing this one as well, so it appears more brown in this photo.

Last up, this one is called Carnival. This one is my favorite of them all. It is a glitter topper full of different colors that are both matte and holographic. I did two coats on top of Jordana's Pink Shock, just because I wanted a big coverage. This just reminds me of a carnival, really, with all of the bright colors.

I hope you guys didn't hate my nub ring finger too much and tried to enjoy the swatches. lol.

My-Stash Lacquer can be purchased in their Etsy. They are super affordable,  $3 for minis and $6 for full size, so hop over their now to pick up a bunch!

Well, that's all for now, talk to you guys later. Bye!

Wet n Wild Megalast Swatches and Review

Hey guys! I am back with another big post.

I did my big one on the Wet n Wild Wet Shine polishes, and I figured I might as well do all of my Wet n Wild polishes that I own, so now I am working on their Megalast line, all of the ones I own.

In this group, I have 9 polishes to show you, and I hope you guys will enjoy each and every one. Some colors photographed different on my camera than other bloggers have photographed them, so I'll let you know what it looks like in person.

Here is a group shot:

The first one I have up to show you is called Dark Side of the Blues. It is a shimmery, metallic deep blue. I really love this color a lot. I did three coats.

Next up, this one is called Mix It Up. This is a glitter topper filled with gold, aqua, and magenta glitters. I topped this over Dark Side of the Blues. It required several coats to get some glitter on, it all stuck to the brush.

The third polish I have to show you is called Tahitian Pearl. This one is more green in the bottle, but photographed teal. It has a subtle shimmer to it.

This next one is called Club Cabaret. This is another glitter topper, comprised of just silver and red glitters. I had the same application issues as Mix It Up.

Next up is Amethyst Rock. This is a medium purple with gold flecks throughout. I did three coats because this is a sheer polish. I love it, it is very pretty.

This one is called I Need A Refresh-Mint. This is a light green-ish blue mint creme.

Next, this one is called Tropicalia. This is a bright coral. I did two coats, so that may be why it is not as bright as it is in the bottle.

Eighth polish up, this one is called On A Trip. This is a medium purple in the bottle, but photographed with blue tones. This is three coats.

The last one I have to show you is called Break the Ice. This is a white polish with lots of shimmer. Since this is very sheer, I had to do three coats and still it appears a bit sheer.

Wet n Wild Megalast polishes retail for $1.99 each and can be found at any drugstore or such stores as Walmart, Kmart, or Target.

I hope you guys enjoyed another post of Wet n Wild polishes. I plan to do the Fast Dry polishes later this weekend, so hopefully you can look out for that.

Well, that's all. Talk to you guys later, bye!
