Glitzy Glazes Swatchfest and Reviews

*Products Received in Swap

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting for a while again. Since I had yesterday, and today and tomorrow off, I will be posting a couple times to make up for it.

Today I am going to share with you guys these fabulous polishes that I got in a fabulous swap that I did with the lovely Kathi from Glitzy Glazes.

She sent me nine polishes. Six of these beauties were from her own personal brand, Glitzy Glazes. I have reviewed for her once before last year, and I loved her polishes. They are so pretty, apply well, and are very unique.

She let me pick which six polishes I wanted. Turns out, I managed to pick all polishes in the same color family, and I kinda made a gradient of colors without knowing it, which is neat.

Here is a group shot of all of the colors I have up to show you guys!

The first one that I have up to show you is from a collection she came out with at Christmas. This is called In Your Dreams, Sleigh Boy. It is a creamy, milky colored polish filled with red and pearl colored micro glitter, red medium circle glitter, and red and white diamond glitters. I did around three coats to get it opaque. Even though I liked this color, I thought it was going to be the color I liked the least of all of them because it is holiday themed, but I really love it a lot! Application was fantastic!

Second up, this one is called Pop the Pink Bubbly. This is a super, super sheer light pink, filled with small silver glitters and large round silver glitters. I did three coats to get it as opaque as I possibly could. I was unable to get any large round silver glitters out, sadly. Besides that issue, application was great! I think this is such a cute color, especially for a young girl.

Next up, this one is called Cindy Lou Who, from her Christmas collection. This is a light-medium pink, filled with small silver glitter, medium pink bar glitter, and large silver circle glitters. I did three coats to get it as opaque as I possibly could, but there is still visible nail line. I still had trouble getting out the circle glitters, but managed one this time. Application was great, this is such a fun color. It's like a party on your nails to me.

The fourth one that I have to show you is called I Love This!. It is a baby pink, but bright, with clear-ish small round glitters and micro silver glitters. I did three coats for consistantcy and to even out lines. Application was fine, a little blotchy but evened out by the third coat. This is such a nice pink, you can never have too many pinks, as you can tell from me and my love of pink.

This next one is called Fuchsia on the Luchsia. This is a nice fuchsia purple polish, with clear small round glitters and micro silver glitters. I did around three coats of this color. I photographed this super late at night, like past 1am, so sorry about the haziness of the photo. Application was fine, no issues. I will say this polish had a smell to it similar to that of the Kleancolor polishes, but it doesn't smell on the nails long.

Last one up, this is called Foolish Mortals, from her Halloween collection. This is a super deep purple, that appears to me to have magenta tones to it, with micro silver glitters and micro silver bar glitters. I did three coats by itself. Application was splotchy, it pulled in places but by three coats it evened out great! This one smelled like the last one, but I wonder if it is because of the darker tones of these two compared to the others.

Glitzy Glaze polishes can be purchased on her Storenvy page. Prices range from $4 for minis to $9 for full size, and $33 each for her Halloween and Christmas sets. I completely recommend her polishes. They are made from love, and are so pretty. You won't find polishes like these all over the place, so if you haven't picked up any from her before, now is the time!

Well, that's all I have for you guys today. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

    1. Those are my favorites too. I am a sucker for polishes that are glitter filled, and bonus if it is a cream filled with tons of glitter.

  2. Hey there, Kathi from Glitzy Glazes here! Thanks for the terrific review. I do have a trick for you... when using any glitter polish, place the bottle UPSIDE-DOWN for several minutes BEFORE using it. That helps the glitters be more available to your brush upon application! :-D
