Rainbow Honey Ichigo Swatch and Review

*Products Received in Swap

Hey guys! The other night, I decided to do a full manicure with some of the polishes I got in one of my swaps again.

This time, I wanted to use some of my gorgeous new Rainbow Honey polishes. I was so lucky to receive these in a swap from a very nice woman. I got one full size polish, a full size topcoat, and three mini polishes. I love the bottles Rainbow Honey uses for their minis, so I was very excited to get more.

For this mani, I used Ichigo, which I received in a full size, Rose Macaron which I got in a mini, and the topcoat.

I used Ichigo as my main color, and Rose Macaron as the accent on my middle fingers. Ichigo is a bright medium pink with lilac/lavender flecks throughout. Rose Macaron is a pale pink cream filled with micro red/gold glitters, lilac/lavender medium glitters, large pink glitters, and lots of other stuff.

I did three coats of each polish. My camera sucks, the colors look a little faded/cloudy, they are a little brighter in person. I just love Rainbow Honey polishes, the formula is great and I just think they have some of the most unique colors and polishes out there!

Rainbow Honey polishes retail for $10 for full size on her website. I tried to find prices for minis, but I could only see minis being sold in sets.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post. I'll talk to you guys later. Bye!

Kleancolor Texture: Birthday Wish

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today to share with you one of the great polish purchases that I made over the weekend.

I was off Friday, and walked down to my workplace to pick up my check, and while I was down there, I checked out Nordstrom Rack and TJMaxx, which are just like 10-15 mins down the street. After I got me something to eat, I stopped by both of those stores. While I was in TJMaxx, I picked up a bunch of polish, at least a bunch in my opinion. I grabbed three Orlys (one duochrome and two in their FX line), one Nicole by OPI from their Modern Family collection, and one Physician's Formula trio, along with some foot cream and Starbucks instant coffee packs.

On Saturday, after I finished work at 3:15pm, my mom and I stopped by Long Drugs because they had 40% off Loreal, and I picked up on of their polishes in their texture line, and then one nail treatment from Jordana. We then went to Plato's Closet, and while I saw three tops and one pair of shorts I really wanted to get, I stayed good and just picked up one great blouse n light blue with gems at the collar from Hollister Co.

Today, my mom and I went back to TJMaxx and Nordstrom Rack, after we went to this weird store that just opened up here in the spot where Nordstrom Rack used to occupy before they moved. It's called And More....by Local Fever (Local Fever is like Jeans Wearhouse, which is kinda like Wet Seal). They sold some designer brands at the front of the store, but then the same things sold at Local Fever, and then weird knockoff bags and accessories, and just weird stuff. The only gems of the store to me were their beauty section, with Kleancolor polish and Kleancolor eyeshadow. I decided to just pick up two Kleancolor polishes. We then went to Nordstrom Rack, but saw nothing I needed. Lastly, we went to TJMaxx, and I picked up a pair of underwear and my mom and I went halfsies on this four pack of Elf duo shadows.

What I have to show you today, after the long explanation of my weekend, is one of the lovely Kleancolor polishes I picked up. This is called Birthday wish, from their 3D Texture collection. This is a lovely hot pink texture, filled with small, round, and bar glitter that take on the color of the polish.

I did three coats by itself, using Jordana's strengthening nail treatment as the base. I love this, it's rough but that's just how it should be. It's so pretty! Application was fantastic, super easy to apply. I love texture polishes, when it chips it is easy to fix and hardly noticeable that there ever was a chip in the first place.

I am honestly not sure where you can purchase Kleancolor polish. As far as I know, Jeans Wearhouse/Local Fever stores here in Hawaii have them, and then you can get them online at places like Amazon, but I don't know of any other regular stores that carry them. These retail for $1.99 each.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Deborah Lippmann Ray of Light

*Received in a Swap

Hey guys! I am back today with another great polish I received in a swap recently.

In one of the swaps that I did, where I traded some of the high end polishes that I had won in giveaways or got to swatch but no longer had interest in them, I received my very first Deborah Lippman polish!

I have always wanted to try some of her polishes, but I just can't see spending that much on one polish. It's fine for others who don't mind spending that much, and I have nothing against that. Just for me, I'd rather spend the $18 to $20 on shoes or clothes, or food or something.

The one that I swapped for is called Ray of Light. This is a very pretty dark blue filled with copper flakies.

I did two coats by itself. Application was fantastic and I hardly needed to do cleanup. My caera had trouble capturing the flakies, but you can see them somewhat, and they are totally there on the nail. I love the combo of dark blue and copper, it's so pretty! I think this is a must have polish!

Deborah Lippmann polishes, as far as I know, can just be purchased at Sephora and Macys, but let me know if other stores sell them as well. They sell for $18-$20 each.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post! That is all that I have for you guys right now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Parfumerie in Wintermint

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I have a great new polish to show you that is the first one of this kind in my collection.

Today I went with my mom to Longs Drugs/CVS just to look around. I noticed they had Revlon products on sale. They had Revlon polishes on sale, and even their Parfumerie line.

Their Parfumerie polishes were on sale for around $3.50, and I had a $1 off coupon, so I only paid less than $3 for one polish. Which I feel is a steal!

The one that I decided to pick up and try is called Wintermint. Now, if you are not already familiar with the polishes from this line, which I am sure most of you are, they all have a particular scent. The color is supposed to kinda be related to the name of the polish which tells you what scent it is.

The one I have to show you, Wintermint, is a minty light green metallic-y polish filled with small blue glitters. It is supposed to have the scent of mint, and it definitely does. It even smells like mint after I put a topcoat over it, which is a test to how well they made these!

I did two coats by itself. It covers really well, so my usual three coats wasn't needed. Application was great, no problems at all. I just love this color, so fresh and minty!

Revlon Parfumerie polishes retail for $6.29. You can find them at CVS, Walgreens, Target, and Ulta as far as I can tell, but they may be available in more stores.

Well, that's all I have to show you guys right now. I hope you guys enjoyed the post! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Happy One Year Blogiversary Giveaway!

*Products Sponsored

Hey guys! Today I am so excited! I have something wonderful for you all, and I hope you all are as excited as I am.

As some of you may know or have noticed, the one year anniversary of my blog happened on May 4th. Time just flew by, it felt like just yesterday that I was brave and finally decided to start a nail polish blog. I have loved polish for a while, but just last year I really started to get into it. I then started to look at and see a lot of pages on Facebook dedicated to others who loved polish, and I read blogs dedicated only to polish, and it got me excited to want to have a Facebook page and blog of my own to show everyone my nails and love of polish.

On May 4th, that was the day I decided to give it a go. Some days I don't feel up to swatching anything for you guys and sometimes polish annoys me, but I wouldn't stop for anything! I have just recently got into the nail polish swapping game too, and this makes me excited to now get more nail mail than ever!

To celebrate one (and then some) year of a lot of fun with my polish blog, I am holding a fabulous giveaway for you guys.

I contacted one of my favorite makers, and the fabulous lady over at Leesha's Lacquers so greatly accepted my asking her to sponsor this giveaway. I left everything in her hands, let her decide how everything is going to go, so she has decided to give away to my followers three great prize packs.

First prize is two full size, one of a kind polishes she made just for my giveaway. The one on the left is called Strawberry Fields, and the one on the right is Pow Wow Pow.

Second prize is a three mini polish prize pack, which she calls The Summer Trio. These are one of a kind polishes. The names of the polishes you will be getting are Poolside, Flip Flops, and Pink Lemonade.

The third prize she has offered up is a three mini polish grab bag, with one of a kind polishes. These are mystery polishes, so you won't know until it arrives to you if you are the winner.

The giveaway is only for the US, sorry guys! It will run from midnight the 13th until the 28th, of this month.

Here is the Rafflecopter to enter:

Thanks for sticking with me guys throughout my first year, and hopefully I have a great second year and my blog continues to grow and I get more opportunities on my blog!

Talk to you all later, bye!

Darling Diva Unicorn Bath

*Product Received in Swap

Hey guys! Today I have another swap polish to show you guys.

One of my favorite indie brands is Darling Diva. I was lucky enough to get in a big swap a full size bottle of their polish, Unicorn Bath. I only have three Darling Diva polishes in my collection, but their formula and color uniqueness is great. I was excited to be able to add another beauty of theirs to my small collection of their polishes.

Unicorn Bath is a super sheer blue polish with a little bit of pinky-purple shimmer. It is filled with white, silver, and blue hex glitters.

I did three coats by itself. I think this is a really pretty polish. I love that is has a little bit of a holo quality to it with the shimmer, and I just love the brightness the glitters give to it.

Darling Diva Polish can be purchased on their Big Cartel shop. Their polishes range in price from $8-$11 for full size bottles. As far as I could tell from their store, they don't sell mini polishes, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed my post and swatch of this lovely polish. That's all I have for you guys today. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

L.A. Girl Color Pop: Birthday Cake

*Product Received in Swap

Hey guys! Today I want to show you a polish I got in a swap that I have been wanting for quite a long time.

I have been wanting to get my hands on this polish for a really long time after I saw someone swatch it on their Facebook page, but I was never able to find it in stores where I live. It was L.A. Colors in Candy Sprinkles.

Okay, this polish that I have to show you guys is NOT that. I have the next best thing though, which is pretty much the exact thing! As L.A. Girl is the sister brand and made by the same company that makes L.A. Colors, this is just about the same thing as Candy Sprinkles, so I am pleased!

The name of this beauty is called Birthday Cake, and it pretty much lives up to its name. This is a baby pink polish filled with sprinkle colored glitters of various sizes.

I did three coats by itself. Applicatin was great, and I hardly had to do any cleanup with this one. I really love this color, it is so pretty. I am so pleased to finally have this in my collection.

L.A. Girl nail polish is sold in Rite-Aid stores, and can be purchased for around $3-$4 (not sure on price as we have no Rite-Aids in Hawaii).

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys for now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Polish Addict Nail Color Unicorn Love

*Product Received in Swap

Hey guys! I am back again today to share with you another one of the polishes that I have received in one of the several swaps I have done recently.

In one of my recent swaps, I swapped two items with one girl, and they swapped me two items back. One of the items that I received from this swap was a mini indie polish.

This is from the brand Polish Addict Nail Color, and it is called Unicorn Love. This is a really pretty super light blue, filled with micro rainbow glitters.

I did three coats by itself. I really love this color. I need to find someone to swap with for a full size bottle or something, because I love it. Application was to die for, not a problem in sight and hardly has any cleanup either. I just love polishes where it makes application a breeze.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post! I'll have another one for you tomorrow, as I am finally getting into a groove and wanting to post more and more, so look out!

I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Bonne Bell Nail Lacquer Swatches and Review

*Purchased for Me By Mom

Hey guys! I am back today to show you some new polishes that my mom spotted and picked up for me a couple days ago.

Everyone has heard of Bonne Bell, right? The pre-teen cosmetic line I am sure all of us girls used once when we were younger. Well, apparently, last month or the month before, they released a new nail polish line. I am not sure exactly how many are in the line, probably at least 7 or 8.

My mom managed to pick up three for me. I want to state, that a couple of these polishes, my camera didn't want to photograph correctly at all. I can't wait until I get a new camera, but I am gradually saving up instead of just blowing all of my money at once, so until then, you'll have to bare with me on these pics.

The first one that I have up to show you is called Miami. This is a shifter, shimmy topper polish. It is creamy with a shift of gold. I did three coats by itself just to see the color. Application was great, no problems.

Second up, this one is called Honolulu, named after my home city! This is your typical red cream, but I feel this one has more orange and bright pink tones, as this is a very bright, sunny red. My camera couldn't capture the true red it was, but this is as close as I could get. Application was great, there were no problems.

The last one up that I have to show you is called Venice Beach. This one is a nice coral polish. It is more tangerine with a little bit of nude tones and not a harsh orange coral. My camera couldn't capture the exact color of it, it is a little brighter than the swatch. Application was great, no problems at all.

Prices for these Bonne Bell Nail Lacquer polishes go for $2.95 per bottle. I am not sure of all of the exact stores these can be found in as they aren't yet on the Bonne Bell site, but my mom did find these for me at CVS I believe.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post! This is all that I have for you today, I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

Funky Fingers Part 2: Duo

*Products Swapped For

Hey guys! I am getting a bit better this week about posting more often. I only waited a couple days before I did a new one today!

Today I have some more Funky Fingers polishes to show you, that again I got in a swap I did. If we had a 5 Below in Hawaii, I'd just buy up the whole collection. I need more!

These two that I have to show you are more topcoat effect polishes than regular polishes, but I wanted to show what these looked like by themselves, which I love to do a lot!

Let's just get right to the two lovely polishes then, yes?

First up, this one is called Up All Night. This is a silvery-gold-ish glitter topper with a super, super, super sheer purple base. I think this could probably shift a polish when layered over one, but I am not super sure. I did three coats by itself. Application was great, no problems at all!

Second and last of the two, this one is called Beautiful. This looks like a light pink polish with silver flecks in the bottle, but the color is so sheer, there hardly is any color at all. I did three coats by itself. Application was great though, no problems like the others.

I think Up All Night would look great over a dark color like purple or navy blue. I think Beautiful would do good over white, baby pink, or baby blue.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Funky Fingers Trio Swatches and Review

*Products Received in Swap

Hey guys! I am back today to share with you some more of the gorgeous polishes that I have received from doing a bunch of swaps lately.

These next ones that I have up to show you I received from a girl in which we did a 3 for 3 swap. Three polishes for three polishes. Usually I like to do it that way, unless they are swapping me some indies and I give them mostly mainstream, then I'll let them have an extra one or two polishes because of that.

The ones I have to show you are from Funky Fingers, which is sold at 5 Below. Hawaii has none of these stores, and no other stores that sell polishes for a discount, meaning like TJMaxx, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, etc., have those there. I have been wanting to try some for a while, and I just love the bottle shape, so I was excited when this swapper had some to swap and wanted to swap with me!

Let's get right to the polishes. I have a nice trio to show you, that I think you will love a lot.

The first one that I have up to show you is called Mermaid Lagoon. This one is a dupe for Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's Grape Shifter which is a dupe for Urban Outfitter's Chilly, at least in terms of price points. This is a glitter packed polish, filled with micro teal-ish blue glitter, medium dark purple and fuchsia glitter, and medium silver glitter. I did three coats by itself. I have Chilly already, and this is just like it, but I love it all the same. Still super pretty, and I am happy to have this in my collection!

Next up, this one is called Fro Yo! This is a lavender creme polish filled with medium and large black glitters and medium light silver glitters. I did three coats by itself. I love this polish, reminds me a lot of ice cream, although no ice cream is really purple like this.

Last up, this one is called Puffo Gelato. This is a light blue creme polish filled with micro and medium black glitters. I did three coats alone. This one also reminds me of ice cream. It is so pretty! This is just a touch lighter in person, my camera didn't want to capture the exact shade of blue, but it is around this shade.

Application on all three were great. Had to do a little cleanup but nothing super outrageous. I would totally recommend these polishes to anyone who hasn't tried them yet.

5 Below, like I said, has no stores in Hawaii, but I know from their website that you can purchase these lovelies for 3 for $5. If Hawaii had one of these stores here, I would totally buy up the entire Funky Fingers collection with that such a steal price!

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys for now! I'll talk to you all later, bye!
