Formula X By Sephora Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Sorry that it has been awhile since I made a post on my blog. I have been busy again, like I always say lately.

Today I have two beauties to show you though. They are both from the Formula X By Sephora line that is sold at Sephora. It came out back in the fall of 2013, and they have so many polishes in their line, it is crazy. They have creams, duochromes, glitters, everything.

The two that I have to show you today are both in the duochrome family. First up, this one is called Moon Glow. This is a super sheer icy blue flecked duochrome.

I did three coats of this polish. Application was great. I think this would do better under a light blue polish, or maybe even white. It just is too sheer to wear alone like I did, I think.

Second and last up, this one is called Infamous. This is a purple to green duochrome in the bottle. When photographed though, it turned into a purple and navy blue duchrome, which is odd but nice.

I did two coats. Application is great, it covers very nicely and you can get away with just one coat, but I did two just because I wanted a richer color.

Formula X By Sephora polishes can only be purchased at Sephora and their website, and prices range from $10.50-$12.50.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post! That's all I have to share with you guys for now. I will talk to you all later, bye!

Conclusion of Rimmel Sweetie Crush Swatches: Candyfloss Cutie

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today after taking tomorrow off with another great post of the last of the three Rimmel Sweetie Crush polishes that I picked up this past weekend.

Today I have to show you Candyfloss Cutie. This is a nice textured baby pink polish with some iridescent micro glitters throughout.

I did three coats as this is quite a sheer polish, as it seems like baby pinks are. Application was fantastic as the other two were. I recommend this polish to everyone who loves baby pink and textured polishes.

Well, that's the conclusion of my three part Rimmel Sweetie Crush swatch and review posts. I hope you guys enjoyed and maybe one of the posts inspired you or made you want to go out and pick some of these polishes up. I would, even if you just liked them a little, as they may not be around for long.

That's all I have for you guys today. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Rimmel Sweetie Crush in Blueberry Whizz

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I am back with another lovely polish from Rimmel's new Sweetie Crush line.

The one that I have up to show you guys today is called Blueberry Whizz. This is a nice textured metallic blue polish.

I did two coats by itself. I really love this color, it has lots of depth and dimension in the light. Application was fantastic, not one single issue at all, only that for one nail I didn't wait long enough for one layer to dry so I had to fix it, but that's it.

Just a short post today as my nails are not in the best shape so I don't want to do too much and have them get worse. Don't worry though, tomorrow I was conclude my Sweetie Crush posts with the last of the three that I picked up this weekend, so remember to check back tomorrow!

That's all for now! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Rimmel Sweetie Crush Textured Polish in Violet Swizzle

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I am back with a great polish that I think you guys will just love!

Rimmel recently came out with another new textured polish, after their Space Dust line. This one is called Sweetie Crush, and it is filled with Valentine's and Easter colors. As far as I know, this is a five piece set. I don't like one of the colors, and I need to get one more color, so, so far I just have three.

The one of the three that I picked up recently that I have to show you guys today is called Violet Swizzle. This is a nice textured lilac color that makes your nails look like sugar was poured on.

I believe I did three coats, only because I wanted a more darker purple, but it covers in one or two. I really love textured nail polish, so this was just perfect for me!

Application was great, no problems whatsoever, so I recommend this polish for everyone!

I am not sure about the price of these polishes, I know that I picked this, and the other two, up for $2.49 each, but they may be cheaper in stores where you live.

Before I go, I would also love to show you a haul that I made this weekend, from both yesterday and today.

I picked up the two NYC In A New York Minute polishes from Longs Drugs/CVS for $1.99 each, the three Rimmel Sweetie Crush polishesfrom Walgreens for $2.49 each, the Rimmel 60 Seconds polish from Walgreens for $2.29, and the Covergirl polish from Walgreens for $4.99.

Out of all of the polishes that I picked up from walgreens, which includes the Rimmels and Covergirl ones, I had a $1 off any Rimmel product coupon and a $0.50 off a Covergirl nail polish, so I happened to save $1.50, plus the Covergirl was on sale today for $4.99 down from like $5.49 or something, so I think I did good!

Well, that's all I have to show you guys today. I hope you enjoyed my Rimmel Sweetie Crush swatch. If you have any of these Sweetie Crush polishes and swatched them, show me! Post your swatches in the comments.

That's all for now, talk to you all later. Bye!

Sally Girl: Twinkle

*Product Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today to show you just one polish, but this one I think you are really going to like.

Back in Mach of last year, I visited my sister in Texas. While I was there, we went to a Sally Beauty, as the ones we have in Hawaii are too far to get to. When I was there, I picked up one of their Sally Girl polishes, not knowing about them at all. Now I wish I could grab some more, but at least I got one for now.

The one that I have to show you today is called Twinkle. This is a nice sheer light blue shimmer with a subtle shift, possibly of lilac or green.

I did four coats because of how sheer this polish is. You can still see visible nail line, but I love the look anyways. Also, I apologize for the hangnail portion of my middle finger, it still hasn't smoothed up and went away. Oh, and sorry also for the weird hand swatching, this polish bottle is like SO SMALL that it is like totally not wanting you to swatch with it.

Application was great on this. Sheer polishes do as sheer polishes do, but that wasn't a problem for me. This may also look great over a white, or a similar light blue underneath.

Sally Girl polishes can be purchased at Sally Beauty like I said. I believe when I picked this one up March 2013, I paid $0.99 or something similar.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I'll talk to you all later. Bye!

Color Club Mini Swatches and Review, Part 2

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today with the continuation of the Color Club mini swatches that I planned on showing you guys yesterday.

As you know, yesterday my camera died after only swatching two of the four polishes I wanted to show you all.

I charged my camera all night, and today it was all charged up and ready to take pics again. I went ahead and finished up all of the swatches I wanted to show you all.

Today I have three pretty polishes to show you all, and I think you will love them.

The first one that I have up to show you has again no name, and none of the polishes I show you today will have any name as far as I know. This one is a nice, bright coral cream.

I did two coats by itself. I love this color, it's so bright and pretty. I think this is a great color to put a
shifting topcoat over, or even a nice chunky glitter.

The next color I have to show you is a nice lilac. I never know the difference between lilac and lavender, but I believe this one is a lilac, it is a nice light lilac cream.

I did around three coats. Sorry about my middle finger, I constantly, 24/7 have hangnail problems and this one was bad. This is such a great color, reminds me of that one lilac in the Rimmel 60 Seconds line.

The last color that I have up to show you is a nice metallic gold. When you look at it in the light, it looks like it also has super subtle, very micro holo glitter, but it could just be my eyes.

I did two coats. Sorry about the pointer finger, it was messed up so I had to redo it and then when I swatched the photo, it wasn't 100% dry. I love this gold, it is so bright.

Application was great on all three of these. Metallics act as metallics do, but with two or more coats it evens out and looks just fine.

Well, that's all I have to share with you guys today, I hope you enjoyed. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Color Club Mini Polishes Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today to show you a couple of polishes that I know you will just love.

I recently picked up a bunch of color club mini polishes. One from Bed Bath and Beyond, and a four piece mini set from Ross.

I planned to show you all five of these polishes, but after I took one shot of the second polish, my camera died. I managed to get it to work long enough to get one more shot of the second polish, but that's all it would let me do.

With that being said, I only have two swatches to show you guys, but I think they are so pretty that it doesn't matter.

The first one that I have up to show you guys, it has no name. This is a light grey cream, simply put.

Yes, this is just a basic grey cream polish, but I think it is pretty. It is a nice blank canvas for glitters and sheer duochromes and flakies. I did one heavy coat. Oh, sorry about the middle finger, my nail was a little rough.

Now, this second and last one I have to show you, I think you guys will drool over. On top of the grey cream, I did between two to three coats of Uptown. This is a duochrome flakie that is burnt red and has shifts of purple and blue. Though, this polish kinda takes on the life of whatever polish you put it on top of.

I think this is such a gorgeous color. Sorry the swatch isn't better, but like I said, my camera died so this is the best I got from a huge pile of TWO pics. You can still see the flakies and the shift.

Color Club minis, as far as I know, aren't really sold in your average store. All I can say, for where to check for these treasures, is Ross and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Oh, and of course online. The grey cream came in a set of four and that only cost me $3.99. Uptown I purchased alone for around $3.19.

Well, that's all I have to show you guys for now, I really hope you enjoyed! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Swatches and Review Part 2

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! I am back today with the second part of my Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure swatches and review.

Today I have two completely different colors than the last two. These are both cremes, but they are still very gorgeous colors. Let's get right to the swatches, shall we?

The first one that I have up to show you guys is called Green Tea. You probably already can guess what type of color this is. This is a nice middle of the road light green mint cream.

I did two coats by itself. Sorry for the pictures, my middle finger isn't a different color, I think the light just was shining on that one more than the others. I love this color, it is very pretty and simple.

Next up, this one is called Cerise. I have no idea what the idea behind the name came from, but this is a nice hot pink cream. I know, I have shown you more than you would like to see of hot pink polishes, but I just can never get enough.

I did two coats by itself. One coat may work if you are heavy handed, although it still shows some visible nail line the color is rich.

I just love these polishes, they are very shiny and pretty. I still added a top coat to Cerise, which I decided to use for my full manicure, just to make it more glossy. I suggest if you don't have any of these polishes from this line yet, go out and pick up your first ones!

That's all I have for you in this line from Sally Hansen, until I come across more on sale and pick them up, that is!

I hope you all enjoyed this post. I'll talk to you all later and bring you some more fabulous polishes to check out! Bye!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Swatches and Review Part 1

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while again. I still have no time anymore, but I was off today so I got to swatching a couple of polishes to show you guys.

Today I am showing you some swatches of a couple of polishes I own from Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line. This will be part one, as I have a couple more polishes that I own in this line that I will show you in a part two.

The first polish of the two that I have to show you is called Lagoon. This is a nice teal metallic color that is almost a duochrome.

I did around two coats for these swatches. I love this color, it is so pretty. Application was a little difficult, it was streaky and applied splochy but with another coat or two it evens out fine.

Second and last up, this one is called Hidden Treasure. I showed you guys this one back last year, at the start of my blog. I showed it to you on my feet. I felt I should give you guys a better swatch on my nails, so here it is. This is a sheer milky white polish with pink undertones.

I did three coats by itself. It is so sheer, you can still see a lot of the nail underneath, and application was super splotchy so that's why some nails look better than others.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes range from $7-$8 and can be found in stores such as CVS, Walmart, Kmart, Walgreens, Target, etc.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post. Check back tomorrow for the conclusion to my Complete Salon Manicure posts.

That's all I have to share with you guys for now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Sephora by OPI and Ciate Mini Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Finally I am back with another great post. Sorry I have been away. I wasn't feeling posting on my days off on Wednesday and Thursday, and then on Friday I worked a full 8 hours, and then today I worked 6 1/2 hours.

I managed to get in a couple of swatches tonight though. I felt like I owed you guys something as it has been a while.

Today I am showing you two polishes that I picked up last weekend on my trip to the mall with my mom. One that I found at good 'ole TJMaxx, and one at everyone's favorite place to shop, Sephora.

The first one of the two that I have up to show you is from Sephora by OPI. This is called I'm Wired. It is a nice, bright coral polish.

I did one to two coats, meaning some nails I was able to get enough polish to cover it great with one coat, and some nails I had to do two coats. I saw if you are heavy handed, one coat will do great.  The formula is a little weird, it shows lines in application a little bit, but it's not that bad.

The second polish that I have to show you is a Ciate mini polish, called Risky Business. No, this is not related to the movie or Tom Cruise, sorry girls! This is a shifter polish that has a blue-purple shift with dark blue glitters of small and medium sizes.

I did around two coats over I'm Wicked for this swatch. The base is a little sheer, so I used another coat just to get a bit more shimmer. Application was great, I love this polish. Probably would look great over white or black, or even by itself in three or four coats.

I recommend both of these polishes. If you haven't tried these brands before, but I am sure you have, you need to go out right away and get some!

Sephora by OPI polishes are no longer sold at Sephora, but you can find them in TJMaxx and Ross for around $3 a bottle. They may be sold in other stores and online, but those two are the ones I am sure of. Ciate mini polishes are sold at Sephora for around $8. Pricey, sure, but I think it is totally worth it and I don't know where else you can even get Ciate polishes in singles.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this post. That's all I have for you guys right now. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Part 3 Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I have the last of the Revlon swatches that i said I was going to show you. Well, the last for a while. I am sure I will buy more Revlon polishes in the future, plus I also ordered 6 of their past Chroma Chameleon polishes so those will be up on the blog sometime.

Today I just have two to show you. One of them is from their Top Speed line and the other is from their regular line. Trust me when I say this, I think you will want to get both of these after you see my swatches.

Let's get right to the polishes and swatches!

The first of the two that I have to show you is, like I said, from their Top Speed line. This one is called Glitz and Glam. This is a deep pink glitter polish that has a sheer, but nicely buildable, dark pink base.

I did two coats by itself. I really like this color. I know this is not an uncommon color, but for some reason I kinda find it unique.

The second color that I have to show you comes from their regular line. This one is called Radiant. It is a bright blue glitter polish, where the micro glitters are blue and it also has medium silver glitter.

I did three coats. It probably would look great over another color, like maybe pink or blue or something. I thought that since this had some sort of base, even though it was super sheer, it was alright on its own.

You can check back to a couple of posts where I said how much Revlon's regular line of polishes costs. Their top speed polishes range from $4.50-$5.50, depending on the store to you go to.

That's all I have for you guys today, I hope you enjoyed! I'll talk to you all later, bye!
