Revlon: Part 2.1 Swatches and Review

*Products either purchased by or given to me

Hey guys! I am back with the next part of the Revlon swatches that I promised to show you guys on Saturday. That didn't work out, as I worked on Saturday and had to work an extra two hours, so I just came home and took a nap.

Today I was off, so after my mom and I went shopping, I decided to swatch three more polishes.

I have for you guys today two in Revlon's regular line, and one in their Colorstay line, which I am not sure is still one of their regular lines or it is discontinued.

The first one I have to show you is called Enchanting. This is a lavender polish with subtle shimmer.

I did three coats. I had trouble getting a shot in focus, and also to get the shimmer to show, but trust me, it is there.

The next one I have to show you is from Revlon's Colorstay line. This is called Passionate Pink. This is another one that didn't want to focus, because it is such a bright color. It's a bright pastel pink.

I did two coats as this is a rich color. One coat, if you are heavy handed, probably could do.

The last one I have to show you is the second from their regular line. This one is called Naughty. It is a dark brownish-grey purple with a lavender shift.

I swear I took like 100 photos of this one because my hand position wasn't working out, and the photos were never in focus, so this is the best I got. I know I have said that a lot lately, but my camera just never cooperates a lot of the time. I did two coats.

Application on all was fantastic. Polish was easy to apply and all had a rich color that wasn't sheer.

In my last post I laid out the price for their regular line polishes, but for their Colorstay polishes, you can find them in stores, if they are still there, for around $4.99-$5.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Swatches and Review

* Products either swapped for or bought

Hey guys! Today I am back with some more Revlon swatches. I have a number of Revlon polishes that I have picked up, either by buying them myself, my mom buying them for me, or getting them in a swap, that I have yet to try or yet to get a great swatch of. I decided to tackle some of those polishes today for this post.

I have three lovely polishes for you today. Two you haven't seen me swatch yet on my blog, and one that I swatched before, but not sure if I have ever showed you guys or not, but I redid the swatch tonight.

The first beauty that I have to show you is from their Chroma Chameleon collection which I think came out last year. This color is called Aquamarine. It is a nice subtle aqua polish that has a bit of a lavender/purple shift in it.

I did three coats of this. It is sheer, and kinda applies uneven a little bit. I still love this color though, even with those flaws and even though the shift is slight.

Next up, this is from their regular line. This is called Blue Lagoon. It is a light blue with subtle shimmer.

I did three coats. I love the consistency of this polish, it applies well.

The last one I have to show you is the one that I previously swatched last year. This is also from their regular line. This is Whimsical. It is a sheer blue polishes filled with medium blue and pink glitters. Let me show you a comparison of my swatch from last year and from today. It shows how much I have improved.

I did four coats of polish for this because it is super sheer and takes several coats to build up color. I really like this look, it probably would look great over a light blue creme as well.

Revlon's Chroma Chameleon polishes can no longer be bought in stores, but I know that you can purchase them on Amazon as I just bought myself six polishes from the collection there. On average, they cost $3 each. For the regular Revlon polishes, typically they go for $5.79 in stores, like CVS, Walgreens, and others.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Tomorrow I will have several more Revlon beauties to show you all.

That's all I have to share with you guys tonight though. I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Revlon Brilliant Strength Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased By Me

Hey guys! Today I am back to show you two lovely polishes that I picked up on Sunday, from Revlon's Brilliant Strength line.

This week at Longs Drugs here in Hawaii, they have 25% off all Revlon products. Their Brilliant Strength nail polishes were on sale for around $4.60. Then, I saw special, select Brilliant Strength polishes were on sale for $4. Plus, I had a $5 bonus beauty bucks coupon I got the last time I made a beauty purchase. I was able to get two polishes in this line by Revlon for only around $3.60. I was so happy that I did such a great job getting the price so low. I saved $12.

I decided on Tuesday, before I went to work, that I was going to show you guys these beauties on my blog, so here they are!

The first of the two I have up to show you is called Beguile. This is a duochrome, a dark blue that has flashes of turquoise. I did one coat as this is a rich color.

I know this is probably a color you've seen me swatch once or twice before, but for me, this color never gets old. It is always just as gorgeous as always to me.

The second polish that I have to show you is called Mesmerize. This is your typical sky blue polish, but I still love it. I did two coats.

Another thing about this color, and about Beguile and probably the whole collection. These polishes are super, super glossy and shiny. I love that about them.

These polishes retail for between $6.99-$7.99, and can be found in drugstores and superstores near you. As this is not the regular Revlon polishes, I can't say specifically which stores carry this and which don't, so just check any store near you that has a Revlon display if you are interested in these.

Well, that's all I have to show you guys for now. I hope you enjoyed! I'll talk to you guys later, bye!

Pretty Serious' They Came From Beyond Space Part II: Destroy All Planets Collection Swatches and Review

*Products Won in Giveaway

Hey everyone! Today I have a fabulous post of a recent collection of textured polishes from the wonderful indie brand Pretty Serious.

Last month I won the entire new collection from them in one of their giveaways on their page. I was sent their They Came From Beyond Space Part II: Destroy All Planets collection. This collection consists of eight textured polishes in a range of colors that are out of this world.

Here is the entire collection. Banner is taken from Pretty Serious' website, I did not create it.

The first one that I have up to show you is called Surfing Alien. This is a bright silver color. Just so I don't repeat myself each time, I did two coats for each color.

Again, so I don't have to repeat, application was great on all polishes. These all have a great texture feel. This is very pretty and super shiny. I love the little bits of darker glitter in this.

The next one that I have up to show you is called Robot Monster. This one is a dark silver.

I love how in some lights, this color can appear slate or close to purple. At first, I thought this color actually was kinda purple.

Next up, this one is Starship Doom. This is a metallic gunmetal black with shimmer.

I love how in the light, the micro glitter in this one appears to be a rainbow of colors. You can just barely tell in my swatch the rainbow of micro glitter.

This one is called Dimension X. It is a light gold that is bright in certain lights.

This color has pretty silver glitter mixed in that really makes this polish something special.

Next up, this one is called Menace From Mars. This is a rich red that has shimmer mixed in. The appearance in the bottle is different from the rest of the polishes i this collection.

The color of this reminds me of old hollywood rich red lipstick. It is so pretty!

This next one is called Cosmic Comet. It is a purple polish that shines a bit silver in the light.

My camera had a little bit of trouble focusing for this one. This swatch/es was the best that I could get.

Next up, this is called Deep Space Destroyer. This is a green teal polish.

This is another one that my camera freaked out on. I hardly got a shot of this one in focus, o this is what I have to show you guys.

This last one is called Warp II. It is a baby blue polish.

This is my favorite color of the entire collection. I just love the light blue color, it is so pretty!

Pretty Serious' They Came From Beyond Space Part II: Destroy All Planets Collection can be purchased on their site's listing here. Each polish costs $9.95 and the entire collection can be purchased for $71.64.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed my picture palooza post and this great collection. If you guys have any polishes from this new collection, show me a swatch!

That's all I have to show you guys for now. I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you guys later. Bye!

Happy Birthday to Me!, with Birthday Mani

*Products My Own

Hey guys! Thursday was my birthday, the big 2-5! I know 25 is not old, but I have been alive now for a quarter of a century, which seems like a long time.

To celebrate my birthday a little bit, I decided to make my nails festive and I chose a couple polishes in my collection that reminded me of birthdays and birthday cake or cupcakes.

The most cupcake looking polishes that I had at my disposal were two lovely polishes from the revamped line by Hard Candy.

I used Sweet Tooth and Pink Taffy. On all of my fingers, I used Sweet Tooth. Just on my ring finger on both hands, I did an accent with Pink Taffy. Both of these colors remind me of cupcake frosting and sprinkles.

I did three coats of Sweet Tooth and two coats of Pink Taffy. Application was great. The only issue I have is that when I was doing cleanup, the glitter pieces didn't want to come off my skin and the sides of my nails. I know that is usually the case with all glitter polish, but it seemed like this time, it was harder than usual. I really love these colors, they are so pretty.

These polishes can be purchased only at Walmart as far as I know, in terms of stores. I am not sure about online. At Walmart, these polishes cost $4. A little more expensive than other polishes, but I think they are definitely worth the price.

Well, that's all I have to show you guys tonight. I hope you enjoyed my post. If you guys have any hard candy polishes that you've swatched that you'd like to show me, post in the comments.

I'll talk to you guys later, bye!

Sheer Glitter Jelly Swatches

*Products Purchase d By and For Me

Hey guys! I am back today to show you two lovely polishes.

These two polishes are what I would call glitter jellies. The colors are sheer and have some glitter mixed into it.

Let's just get right to the swatches as these polishes really speak for themselves.

The first one that I have to show you is from Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear line. This is called Blue Boom. This is a sheer medium blue jelly packed with micro silver glitters and silver bar glitters.

I did three coats as this is quite sheer, like I said. It builds up nicely though, so no more than the three  coats are needed. I really love this color, it is so pretty!

The next beauty that i have to show you is from the Spoiled by Wet n Wild line. This one is called Checkin' Into Rehab. This is a sheer dark purple polish with micro golden blush glitter throughout.

I did three coats, and you can tell that there is still very visible nail line. I don't like to use too many coats, so I just left it as it is. Plus, I kinda like the visible nail line look this polish creates.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail polish can vary store to store, but usually you can find it between $2.19-$2.50 per bottle. Spoiled by Wet n Wild polish retails for $1.99. Both can be found in any superstore or drugstore near you.

I hope you guys enjoyed by post on a couple gorgeous sheer jelly polishes. If you don't have these yet, I suggest you go out and pick them up!

Well, that's all I have to show you guys tonight! I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Nicole By OPI Modern Family Swatches and Review

*Products Purchased for Me By Mom

Hey guys! I am back today to show you some lovely polishes that my mom picked up for me on Saturday while we were out getting me some shoes for work.

After my mom and I went to Famous Footwear and I got some shoes for work, we stopped by TJMaxx to look around.

We came out with a package of two polishes from Nicole By OPI, that my mom was so nice to buy for me.

These are very pretty polishes, from their Modern Family line, which they currently have 14 polishes that complete the entire line.

Let's just get right to the swatches of the two polishes from their Modern Family line that I have to show you!

The first one that I have to show you is called I Do De-Claire. This is what you might called a metallic baby pink polish, with a subtle shimmer.

I did two coats. This is so pretty, I really love the look of this polish.

The second one that I have to show you guys is called A Like-Haley Story. This one is your typical hot pink polish, but this one has some pretty subtle shimmer.

The color is much brighter than in the swatch, I always have trouble photographing hot pink polish. I did two coats. I couldn't capture the shimmer, I wish I could as it is my favorite part of this polish.

Nicole By OPI polishes can be purchased at Walmart, Target, Kmart, and CVS, among other places. They usually cost $7.99 each.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post on some more Nicole by OPI polishes. That's all I have to share with you guys today. I'll talk to you all later. Bye!
